【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단(이사장 배광식) 산하 구수산도서관이 연말을 맞아 오는 13일 북카페에서 지역 서점과 함께하는 문화 행사를 개최한다. 

이번 프로그램 ‘동네에서 쓰여진 작은 이야기들’은 가족 단위 이용객이 하루 종일 전시, 체험, 강연 등을 편하게 즐길 수 있도록 마련됐다.

행사에는 지역의 3개 동네서점인 책방공공, 여행자의 책, 나른한 책방이 참여한다. 

각 서점은 저마다 다른 주제로 도서를 전시하고, 전시작과 연계된 글쓰기, 노랫말 달력 제작, 필사 체험 등을 통해 북카페 공간을 새로운 문화 체험장으로 꾸밀 예정이다.

또한 지역 작가와 직접 만나는 시간도 준비됐다. 12월의 지역작가로 선정된 김정애, 박지유 작가는 ‘작가가 되는 기분’을 주제로 강연을 열어 창작 과정과 글쓰기의 삶에 대한 이야기를 전할 계획이다. 

결혼이주여성들이 직접 만든 그림책이 전시되며, 어린이와 가족을 위해 그림책 읽기와 붕어빵 손난로 만들기, 크리스마스 리스 제작 등 다양한 체험 프로그램도 마련된다. 내년을 미리 엿볼 수 있는 타로 체험도 북카페 특유의 분위기를 더할 전망이다.

구수산도서관 관계자는 “이번 프로그램을 통해 북카페가 지역 주민을 위한 열린 복합문화공간으로 거듭나길 바란다”며 “2026년에도 정기적으로 다양한 프로그램을 운영해 지역 주민들이 자연스럽게 문화를 누릴 수 있는 기회를 계속 제공하겠다”고 말했다.

The Gususan Library, affiliated with the Happy Bukgu Cultural Foundation (Chairman Bae Gwang-sik), will host a year-end cultural event at its Book Café on the 13th, featuring local bookstores.

This year's program, "Small Stories Written in the Neighborhood," is designed for families to enjoy a day of exhibitions, hands-on activities, and lectures.

Three local bookstores will participate in the event: Bookstore Public, Traveler's Book, and Naryeonhan Bookstore.

Each bookstore will exhibit books with a different theme and transform the Book Café into a new cultural experience through activities such as writing related to the exhibition, creating song lyric calendars, and copying experiences.

There will also be opportunities to meet local authors. Kim Jeong-ae and Park Ji-yu, selected as December's local authors, will give lectures on "What It Feels Like to Become a Writer," sharing their creative process and the life of writing.

Picture books created by married immigrant women will be on display, and various hands-on programs for children and families will be offered, including picture book readings, making bungeoppang hand warmers, and making Christmas wreaths. A tarot experience, offering a glimpse into next year, is expected to add to the unique atmosphere of the book café.

A representative from Gususan Library stated, "We hope this program will help the book café transform into an open, multi-cultural space for local residents. We will continue to offer regular programs in 2026, providing local residents with opportunities to naturally enjoy culture."
