【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=한국원자력환경공단(이사장 조성돈)이 3일 경주 라한셀렉트에서 중소 협력기업과 함께 ‘방폐물산업 동반성장 워크숍’을 열고 산업 생태계 조성과 상생 협력 방안을 모색했다.

이번 워크숍에서는 올해 협력 성과를 공유하고 내년도 사업 방향을 설명하는 자리로 마련됐으며, 유공자 포상과 2025년 품질관련등급(AQ) 신규 협력사 등록증 수여, 인권경영 서약식 등도 함께 진행됐다. 공단은 행사에서 내년 추진 예정인 고준위·중저준위 방사성폐기물 관련 사업계획을 협력사에 설명했다.

워크숍에 앞서 공단은 협력기업인 에닌㈜와 ‘일·가정 양립 지원 협약’을 체결했다. 협약을 통해 공단은 유연근무제, 육아시간제, 육아자율근무제 등 가족친화 제도가 협력기업에도 정착될 수 있도록 지원할 계획이다.

조성돈 한국원자력환경공단 이사장은 “방폐물 관리 전문기관으로서 협력기업이 함께 성장할 수 있는 산업 생태계를 구축하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “복지 향상과 상생문화 확산에도 지속적으로 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

Korea Radioactive Waste Management Agency (KOREA) Discusses Mutual Growth with Partner Companies…Radioactive Waste Management Industry Workshop Held in Gyeongju

KOREA (Chairman Cho Sung-don) held a "Radioactive Waste Management Industry Mutual Growth Workshop" with small and medium-sized partner companies at Lahan Select in Gyeongju on the 3rd to explore ways to foster an industrial ecosystem and foster mutually beneficial cooperation.

The workshop served as an opportunity to share this year's collaborative achievements and outline next year's business direction. It also included awards for distinguished service, the presentation of new partner registration certificates for the 2025 Quality-Related Grade (AQ), and a human rights management pledge ceremony. At the event, KOREA explained its business plans for next year related to high-level, low-intermediate, and intermediate-level radioactive waste management to its partners.

Prior to the workshop, KOREA signed a "Work-Family Balance Support Agreement" with partner company Enin Co., Ltd. Through this agreement, KOREA plans to support the implementation of family-friendly policies, such as flexible work hours, childcare hours, and flexible work arrangements, within its partner companies.

Cho Seong-don, Chairman of the Korea Radioactive Waste Agency, said, “As a specialized organization for radioactive waste management, it is most important to build an industrial ecosystem where partner companies can grow together,” adding, “We will also continue to strive to improve welfare and spread a culture of coexistence.”
