【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구청이 대구사회복지공동모금회와 함께 ‘희망2026 나눔캠페인’의 일환인 사랑의 열매달기 릴레이 행사에 동참했다. 이번 행사는 연말을 맞아 지역사회에 기부문화를 확산시키기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 행사에는 배광식 북구청장과 신홍식 대구사회복지공동모금회장이 참석해 나눔 활성화 방안을 논의했다. 현장에서는 취약계층을 위한 ‘따뜻한 겨울나기 난방비 지원’ 전달식도 함께 진행됐다. 앞서 지난 3일에는 취약계층 795가구에 각각 10만 원씩 난방비가 지급됐다.

신홍식 회장은 “북구의 지속적인 기부 참여에 감사드린다”며 “작은 나눔이 모이면 지역의 온기를 더욱 높일 수 있다”고 시민들의 동참을 당부했다.

배광식 북구청장은 “이번 릴레이 참여를 계기로 기부문화가 더 널리 퍼지길 기대한다”며 “북구도 사랑의 온도탑 목표 달성을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
