【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 수성구가 보건복지부에서 실시한 2025년 지역복지사업평가에서 3년 연속 최우수상을 비롯해 2개 분야에서 수상, 지역복지 추진 역량을 다시 한 번 입증받았다.

지역복지사업 평가는 전국 17개 시도와 229개 시군구를 대상으로 복지 전달체계 구축 수준과 지역복지 발전 기여도를 평가하고, 우수사례를 확산하기 위해 시행되는 제도다.

수성구는 2023년부터 3년 연속 수상한 ‘찾아가는 보건복지서비스 제공’ 부문에서 △지역 특화 위기정보 빅데이터 활용 선제적 위기가구 발굴 △동 중심 방문형 복지서비스 강화 △현장 인력 역량 강화와 처우 개선 등에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

희망복지지원단 운영 부문에서는 지난해에 이어 우수상을 수상했다. 이 부문에서는 △실무 중심의 공공 사례관리 협력체계 구축 △AI 기반 고독사 예방 및 청년 고독사 대응 사업 △이웃돌봄단 ‘뚜비 행복잇GO’를 통한 민관 협력 강화 등 변화하는 복지 수요에 발맞춘 다양한 노력이 인정받았다.

김대권 수성구청장은 “민관이 함께 만든 수성구만의 지역보호 체계가 좋은 평가를 받아 매우 의미 있게 생각한다”며, “앞으로도 민관 협력을 적극적으로 펼쳐 촘촘한 복지안전망을 구축하고, 따뜻한 행복수성 복지 공동체를 만들어 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu's Suseong-gu District has once again demonstrated its capabilities in promoting local welfare by winning awards in two categories, including the Grand Prize for the third consecutive year, in the 2025 Local Welfare Project Evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

The Local Welfare Project Evaluation is a system implemented across 17 cities and provinces and 229 cities and counties nationwide to evaluate the level of welfare delivery systems and contributions to local welfare development, and to disseminate best practices.

Suseong-gu District received high marks in the "Mobile Health and Welfare Service Provision" category, winning for three consecutive years since 2023. These awards included proactively identifying at-risk households using regionally specialized crisis information big data, strengthening neighborhood-based on-site welfare services, and enhancing the capabilities and treatment of field personnel.

The district also received an Excellence Award in the Hope Welfare Support Group Operation category, continuing its success last year. This category recognized various efforts to meet evolving welfare needs, including establishing a practice-oriented public case management collaboration system, AI-based programs to prevent lonely deaths and respond to youth lonely deaths, and strengthening public-private cooperation through the neighborhood care group "Ddubi Happy It GO."

Suseong-gu Mayor Kim Dae-kwon stated, "It is truly meaningful that Suseong-gu's unique community protection system, developed jointly by the public and private sectors, has received such positive reviews. We will continue to actively pursue public-private cooperation to establish a robust welfare safety net and create a warm, happy Suseong welfare community."
