【브레이크뉴스 구미】이성현 기자=국립금오공과대학교(총장 곽호상)가 방위사업청에서 주관하는 '국방사업관리사 자격증과정' 운영 기관 중 2년 연속 전국 최상위권의 합격자 배출 성과를 달성하며 방위산업 전문 인력 양성의 메카로 확고히 자리매김했다.

국립금오공과대학교는 2024년 합격자 6명에 이어, 2025년 합격자 7명 배출이라는 전국 상위수준의 성과를 창출했다.

‘국방사업관리사’는방위산업 분야의 전문지식을 보유한 인력임을 인증하는 국가자격증이다.방위산업체 입장에서는 사업수주를 위한 제안서 제출·평가 가산점의중요한 필수 요소이며, 방산 분야 취업 희망 구직자에게는 취업 가점 요소로 활용되고 있다. 무기체계 및 정보체계의 2개 종목으로 나눠져 있다.

2024년 총 5개 대학, 2025년 현재는 총 13개 대학이 민간 운영기관으로 있으며,국립금오공대는 2년 연속(2024, 2025) 국방사업관리사 자격증과정 운영 대학으로 선정된 바 있다. 국립금오공대는 산학협력단 산하의 첨단방위산업융합센터에서 ‘2025년무기체계 사업관리Ⅲ급 과정’을 운영하고 있다.

올해 국방사업관리자 자격증 가운데 국립금오공대가 운영하고 있는 2025년 무기체계 사업관리Ⅲ급 과정은 전체 응시자 668명 가운데 합격자가 53명으로 합격률이 8% 미만에 불과하다. 합격자 53명 중 7명이 국립금오공대 자격증과정 수료생으로, 민간운영대학 13곳과 방위사업교육원 1곳을 포함한 총 14곳의 자격증과정 기관 중 최다 합격자를 배출했다.

국립금오공대는 재학생 및 지역 방산업체 재직자를 대상으로 2026년 5~6월 중 자격증과정 참여 대상자를 모집하고, 7월 초부터 재학생 주간 및 재직자 야간 과정 등을 운영할 계획이다.

국방사업관리사 자격증 과정을 수행하는 국립금오공대 첨단방위산업융합센터는 수요맞춤형 방위산업 전문 인력도 양성하고 있으며, 현장 중심의 전문교육을 통해 방위산업 인력 수급의 불균형 해소와 청년 일자리 창출 등에 기여하고 있다.

For defense companies, it is a crucial factor in securing bids and receiving bonus points for proposal submissions and evaluations, and for job seekers seeking employment in the defense industry, it is used as a valuable employment opportunity. The certification is divided into two categories: weapon systems and information systems.

A total of five universities will be operating privately in 2024, and 13 universities will be operating privately in 2025. Kumoh National Institute of Technology (KIT) has been selected to operate the Defense Project Management Certification Program for two consecutive years (2024 and 2025).
