이번 회의는 2025년 상·하반기 정책자문위원회 활동 보고를 시작으로 군정 주요사업 점검, 읍·면 특화사업 발굴 논의, 기타 안건 토의 순으로 진행됐다. 위원들은 지난 1년간 민선 8기 정책자문위원회가 추진한 주요 활동을 공유하고, 향후 운영 방향과 정책 자문 기능 강화 방안을 폭넓게 논의했다.
특히 위원들이 제안한 ‘치유의 길 조성’, ‘파크골프장 건립’ 등 읍·면 특화 사업이 핵심 안건으로 다뤄지며 지역 여건을 반영한 생활밀착형 시책 개발, 주민 참여 확대 방안 등이 다양하게 제시되는 등 실효성 있는 논의가 이어졌다.
박현국 봉화군수는 “정책자문위원회는 군정의 중요한 동반자이자 정책 품질 향상을 견인하는 핵심 기구”라며 “위원들의 다양한 의견을 군정 운영에 적극 반영해 현안 해결과 미래 성장 동력 확보에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
홍연웅 정책자문위원장은 “읍·면 고유 자원을 기반으로 한 특화 전략 발굴은 봉화군 균형발전의 핵심”이라며 “위원들의 전문성과 지혜를 모아 지역 활력 제고와 지속 가능한 성장 기반 마련에 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.
