이번 평가는 전국 지방자치단체의 농업기계 교육훈련 운영기관을 대상으로 실시됐으며, ▲농업기계 교육훈련 실적 ▲재난지원 실적 ▲중앙교육 참여도 ▲예산 집행 및 지자체 노력도 등 핵심 지표를 종합 심사해 총 8개 기관을 우수기관으로 선정했다.

울진군 농기계임대사업소는 농업기계 안전교육 운영뿐 아니라 농업인의 자격 취득을 돕기 위한 소형건설기계 조종사 면허취득 교육, 국가기술자격시험장 운영 등 다양한 분야에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

올해 주요 실적도 두드러진다. 농업기계 안전 및 현장 실무교육 469명, 소형건설기계 조종사 면허 취득자 198명, 국가기술자격시험 응시자 167명 배출 등 농업인의 역량 강화에 기여했다. 또한 예취기 순회수리를 10회 실시해 총 1,538대를 수리·지원하는 등 현장 중심의 서비스도 강화했다.

울진군 농기계임대사업소 관계자는 “이번 우수기관 선정은 농업인 교육체계 정립과 안전한 영농환경 조성을 위해 꾸준히 노력한 결과”라며 “앞으로도 농업인의 안전의식 향상과 사고 예방을 위한 실질적인 교육을 더욱 확대·강화해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
