【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 수성구가 대표 캐릭터 ‘수호천사 뚜비’를 앞세운 어린이 환경 주제 특별 공연을 성황리에 마쳤다.

수성구(구청장 김대권)는 지난 14일 이마트 스타필드 마켓 경산점에서 어린이 공연을 개최했다고 16일 밝혔다. 이날 공연은 노래와 율동을 곁들여 환경 보호 실천 방법을 어린이 눈높이에 맞춰 쉽고 재미있게 전달해 큰 호응을 얻었다.

수성구는 현재 지역 내 100여 개 어린이집과 유치원을 순회하며 약 5천 명의 어린이를 대상으로 ‘찾아가는 공연’을 이어가고 있다. 최근에는 인기가 높아짐에 따라 인접 지역인 경산까지 공연 무대를 확장했다.

이번 특별 공연은 비수도권 최초로 ‘스타필드 마켓’으로 새 단장한 이마트 스타필드 마켓 경산점에서 진행됐다. 공연은 오후 2시, 4시 두 차례에 걸쳐 열렸으며, 현장에는 많은 어린이와 가족 관람객이 몰려 전 회차 좌석이 모두 매진되는 등 뜨거운 반응을 이끌어냈다.

특히 공연 개최 전 수성구와 이마트 스타필드 마켓 경산점에서 SNS를 활용한 사전 홍보가 이뤄져 관객들의 기대를 높였다.

김대권 수성구청장은 “뚜비가 어린이들에게 많은 사랑을 받고 있다”며 “앞으로도 이마트 스타필드 마켓 경산점 등과 다양한 협업을 이어가 캐릭터 인지도를 높이고, 문화·경제적 상생을 실현할 기회를 꾸준히 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.
