이번 평가는 전국 86개 광역·기초자치단체를 대상으로 진행됐으며, 수성구는 수성대학교 산학협력단과 협력체계를 구축해 사업을 운영한 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

‘청년 도전 지원사업’은 구직단념 청년을 대상으로 맞춤형 프로그램을 제공해 구직 의욕을 회복시키고, 취업과 사회 진입을 체계적으로 지원하는 사업이다. 수성구는 올해 목표 인원 120명 중 122명이 수료하는 성과를 거뒀으며, 수료자 전원을 취업, 일 경험, 구직 도약 패키지, 국민취업지원제도, 직업훈련 등 다양한 후속 프로그램과 연계했다.

수성구는 내년 사업에서 구직단념 청년 130명을 대상으로 단기 30명, 중기 65명, 장기 35명으로 구분해 단계별·맞춤형 프로그램을 운영할 계획이다. 이를 통해 청년 개인의 상황과 필요에 맞춘 보다 촘촘한 지원을 제공한다는 방침이다.

김대권 구청장은 “청년 도전 지원사업을 통해 청년들이 취업 역량을 강화하고 안정적으로 노동시장에 진입할 수 있도록 지속적인 사후관리와 후속 프로그램 연계를 추진하겠다”며, “앞으로도 청년들에게 실질적인 도움이 되는 정책과 프로그램을 꾸준히 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
