대구 중구청은 남산동 악기점 골목이 대구광역시와 대구전통시장진흥재단이 주최·주관한 ‘2025년 골목경제권 조성사업 우수 골목상권 선정평가’에서 대상의 영예를 안았다고 밝혔다.

2025년 골목경제권 조성사업 대상지로 선정된 10개 골목상권을 대상으로 사업 추진 성과와 완성도, 상권 활성화 기여도 등을 종합 심사했다.

골목경제권 조성사업 가운데 활력지원사업에 선정된 남산동 악기점 골목은 

돼 사업비 1억 원을 지원받았다.

이를 바탕으로 상권을 대표하는 안내판 설치, 노후 벽화와 지하철 출입구 디자인 개선, 음악 콘텐츠와 연계한 ‘남산 썸머 사운드 축제’ 개최 등 골목 특성을 살린 다양한 사업을 추진했다.

심사에서는 악기 골목이라는 고유한 자산을 문화 콘텐츠로 확장하고, 상인들의 자발적인 참여가 더해져 골목의 가치를 높였다는 점이 높게 평가됐다. 

이러한 노력이 방문객 유입 증가와 상권 활력 회복으로 이어지며 대상 수상의 주요 요인으로 꼽혔다.

류규하 중구청장은 “남산동 악기점 골목만의 고유한 매력과 상인들의 적극적인 참여로 값진 성과를 거둘 수 있었다”며, “앞으로도 골목상권이 지역 경제의 든든한 버팀목이 될 수 있도록 지속적으로 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

The musical instrument alley in Namsan-dong, Jung-gu, Daegu, has been selected as an exemplary case of revitalizing local businesses in Daegu and received the grand prize.

The Jung-gu District Office announced that the musical instrument alley in Namsan-dong won the grand prize in the "2025 Alley Economic Zone Development Project Outstanding Alley Business Selection Evaluation," hosted and organized by the Daegu Metropolitan City and the Daegu Traditional Market Promotion Foundation.

The ten alley businesses selected for the 2025 Alley Economic Zone Development Project were comprehensively evaluated based on project performance, completeness, and contribution to revitalizing the local business district.

Namsan-dong's musical instrument alley was selected for the revitalization support project among the Alley Economic Zone Development Projects, and received KRW 100 million in funding.

Based on this support, various projects were implemented that leveraged the unique characteristics of the alley, including the installation of representative signage, improvements to aging murals and subway entrance designs, and the hosting of the "Namsan Summer Sound Festival," which featured music content.

The evaluation process highly praised the expansion of the unique asset of the musical instrument alley into cultural content, and the voluntary participation of merchants, which enhanced the alley's value.

These efforts, which led to increased visitor traffic and revitalized the commercial district, were cited as key factors in its award.

Jung-gu District Mayor Ryu Gyu-ha stated, "The unique charm of the Namsan-dong musical instrument alley and the active participation of merchants enabled us to achieve valuable results." He added, "We will continue to support the alley's commercial district so that it can become a strong pillar of the local economy."
