이번 검사는 탁주와 기타주류에 사용될 수 있는 인공감미료와 보존료를 비롯해 메탄올, 에탄올 등 주요 항목을 중심으로 진행됐다.

검사 결과, 단맛을 내는 인공감미료인 사카린나트륨은 모든 시료에서 검출되지 않았으며, 아스파탐과 아세설팜칼륨은 허용 기준 이내로 검출돼 안전한 수준인 것으로 확인됐다. 또한 보존료와 메탄올은 전 시료에서 불검출됐고, 에탄올 함량 역시 관련 규격에 모두 적합한 것으로 나타났다.

신상희 대구광역시 보건환경연구원장은 “이번 검사를 통해 시중에 유통 중인 탁주가 안전하게 관리되고 있음을 확인했다”며 “앞으로도 시민들이 안심하고 식품을 소비할 수 있도록 지속적이고 선제적인 위생 감시에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
