이날 행사에는 본청과 동 행정복지센터 등 산하 기관 직원 250여 명이 참석해, 지난해 성과를 돌아보고 올해 구정 운영 방향을 공유했다.

시무식은 ‘2025년 되돌아보는 우리 북구’ 영상 상영으로 시작됐다. 영상에는 주민 생활과 밀접한 주요 정책과 현안 사업의 성과가 담겼고, 참석자들은 지난 1년 간의 행정을 되짚는 시간을 가졌다.

이날 행사에서는 구청 간부들이 직접 참여한 카드섹션 퍼포먼스도 눈길을 끌었다. 간부들은 새해 희망 메시지와 구정 비전을 담은 문구를 통해, 2026년 북구가 나아갈 행정 방향에 대한 공감대를 형성했다.

배광식 북구청장은 신년사를 통해 “병오년은 밝은 에너지로 힘차게 나아가는 해”라며 “2026년에는 말이 아닌 직접 실천으로, 주민이 현장에서 변화를 체감할 수 있도록 행정을 펼치겠다”고 밝혔다. 

이어 “안전과 행복을 최우선 가치로 삼아 재난 대응 역량을 강화하고, 현장 중심 행정과 주민과의 소통도 한층 확대하겠다”며 “적토마처럼 밝고 힘차게, 늘 주민 곁에서 함께하는 북구를 만들겠다”고 강조했다.

북구청은 이번 시무식을 계기로 새해 구정 운영에 속도를 내고, 주민 생활과 밀접한 정책을 중심으로 현장 행정을 한층 강화할 방침이다.

He continued, "With safety and happiness as our top priorities, we will strengthen our disaster response capabilities and further expand our field-oriented administration and communication with residents. We will create a Buk-gu district that is as bright and energetic as the Red Hare, always standing by its residents."

Using this New Year's address as an opportunity, Buk-gu Office plans to accelerate its new year's administration and further strengthen its on-site administration, focusing on policies closely related to residents' lives.
