【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북교육청이 2025년 학교안전공모전 수상작을 바탕으로 제작된 영상 2편을 공식 유튜브 채널 '맛쿨멋쿨TV'에 공개했다.

경북교육청은 이번 영상을 학생 주도의 안전문화 확산을 위한 교육 자료로 적극 활용할 계획이라고 13일 밝혔다.

이번에 공개된 영상은 도내 초·중·고 학생들이 학교안전공모전에 참여하며 거둔 성과를 교육 콘텐츠로 확장한 사례로 평가된다. 학교안전공모전에는 총 459명의 학생이 참여해 약 340점의 작품이 출품됐으며, 56점이 수상작으로 선정되어 101명의 학생이 수상했다. 대상은 김천부곡초 이서현 학생에게 돌아갔다.

공모전은 이모티콘, 안전그림, 글짓기, 안전 숏폼 등 4개 부문으로 진행됐으며, 생활안전, 교통안전, 재난 대비, 직업안전, 응급처치 등 7대 표준 안전교육 영역을 골고루 다뤘다. 또 약취·유인 예방 등 최근 사회적 이슈도 반영해 관심을 끌었다.

공개된 영상에는 수상작 하이라이트와 함께 학생들의 메시지가 담겼다. 특히 약취·유인 예방을 주제로 한 안동서부초 한예지 학생의 작품 설명과 인터뷰가 소개됐고, 안전 숏폼 부문 최우수상을 받은 선주초 '꿀상팀'의 영상도 포함됐다. 이들 영상은 학생의 시각에서 일상 속 안전 수칙을 전달하며, 교육적 활용도가 높다는 평가를 받고 있다.

경북교육청은 해당 영상을 학교 안전교육 자료로 활용하는 한편, 교내 캠페인과 가정 연계 교육에도 적용할 예정이다. 특히 학생들이 직접 만든 콘텐츠를 통해 또래 공감대를 높이고, 생활 속 실천으로 이어지도록 한다는 방침이다.

임종식 경북교육감은 "학교안전공모전은 안전한 학교문화를 만들기 위한 사업"이라며 "학생들이 스스로 안전사고 예방의 중요성을 깨닫고 실천할 수 있도록 안전교육과 환경 조성에 꾸준히 힘쓰겠다"고 강조했다.

These videos convey everyday safety rules from a student's perspective and are receiving rave reviews for their educational utility.

The Gyeongbuk Office of Education plans to utilize these videos as safety education materials for schools, as well as in school campaigns and home-based education.
