【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=(재)포항테크노파크(원장 배영호, 이하 포항TP) 경북디지털혁신본부는 지난 15일, 제조 현장의 다양한 애로사항을 인공지능(AI) 기술로 해결하는 경북AX랩의 2025년 주요 성과와 2026년 사업 추진 계획을 발표했다.

경북AX랩은 과학기술정보통신부와 정보통신산업진흥원(NIPA)이 주관하는 ‘제조업 AI 융합 기반 조성사업’의 일환으로 구축된 공간으로, 경상북도와 포항시, 포항TP가 협력해 제조기업의 현장 문제를 AI로 해결하고 실증할 수 있도록 조성한 AI 융합 거점이다.

이곳은 기업이 데이터를 직접 분석하고 AI 모델을 학습·검증할 수 있는 전용 실증 공간과 기술 인프라를 갖추고 있으며, AI 도입 맞춤형 컨설팅, 기술 세미나, 교육 프로그램을 무료로 운영해 실제 제조현장 적용이 가능한 실증 중심 지원체계를 구축하고 있다.

2025년에는 제조AI 교육과 세미나, AI 도입 컨설팅을 통해 지역 제조기업의 AI 활용 역량을 높였고, AI 솔루션 개발·실증 지원사업을 통해 참여 기업의 성과도 가시화됐다. ㈜임팩티브에이아이(대표 정두희)는 시리즈A 82억 원 규모의 투자 유치에 성공했고, 포인드㈜(대표 이채수)는 산업통상자원부의 ‘AI 팩토리 전문기업’으로 선정되는 성과를 거뒀다.

2026년에는 AI 기술의 제조현장 확산을 가속화하기 위해 지원 규모를 확대한다. 신규 수요맞춤형 AI 솔루션 개발·실증 과제를 3개 선정해 과제당 최대 1억 6천만 원을 지원하고, 제조기업의 현장 문제를 중심으로 솔루션 개발과 실증을 강화할 계획이다. 또한 제조AI 교육·세미나·컨설팅 프로그램도 지속 운영해 실무 중심의 AI 활용 역량을 체계적으로 높일 방침이다.

아울러 예비·초기 1인 창업기업을 대상으로 전문가 컨설팅과 홍보영상·홈페이지 제작 등을 지원하는 프로그램을 추진해, 소규모 기술창업이 지역 제조AI 생태계에 안착할 수 있도록 돕는다.

배영호 포항TP 원장은 “2025년은 제조 현장에서 AI가 실질적인 성과로 이어질 수 있음을 확인한 의미 있는 해였다”며 “2026년에는 실증과제 확대와 교육·컨설팅, 창업 지원을 통해 현장 중심의 AI 확산과 기업 성장을 동시에 이끌겠다”고 밝혔다.

In 2025, manufacturing AI training, seminars, and AI adoption consulting were provided to enhance the AI ​​utilization capabilities of local manufacturing companies. Furthermore, the AI ​​solution development and validation support program also demonstrated tangible results for participating companies. Impactive AI (CEO Jeong Doo-hee) successfully secured KRW 8.2 billion in Series A funding, and Point Co., Ltd. In 2026, support will be expanded to accelerate the diffusion of AI technology into manufacturing settings. Three new, demand-driven AI solution development and validation projects will be selected, with up to KRW 160 million provided per project. Additionally, we will launch a program targeting prospective and early-stage one-person startups, providing expert consulting and support for promotional videos and website creation, helping small-scale technology startups establish themselves within the local manufacturing AI ecosystem.
