이 선택이 옳으냐 그르냐를 떠나, 당 대표가 국회 한복판에서 물만 마시며 몸을 내던진 사실 자체는 결코 가볍지 않다. 단식은 언제나 극단적인 정치적 선택이고, 그만큼 무거운 책임을 전제로 한 행동이다.

A political party is not an organization that first determines "who is right" in a crisis. It is an organization that must demonstrate "how they will take responsibility."

Before discussing the legitimacy of the hunger strike, the People Power Party must first question whether it truly operates as a single, decisive entity. The party leader is engaging in politics with his body, while those around him are verbally attacking each other. This is a manifestation of division disguised as diversity.

Politics is about timing, and responsibility speaks louder than words. What's needed now is not a politics where each party proclaims its own "rightness," but an attitude of sharing the weight of this situation. When this foundation crumbles, both the meaning of the hunger strike and the justification for criticism will become hollow.
