【브레이크뉴스 경산】이성현 기자=대구대학교(총장 박순진) RISE사업단 로컬인재양성센터는 지난 1월 25일부터 29일까지 베트남 호치민 일원에서 ‘2025학년도 글로벌 취·창업 역량 강화 프로그램’을 운영했다고 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 재학생들이 베트남에 진출한 경북 지역 기업의 산업 현장을 직접 체험하고, 현지 대학생들과의 협업을 통해 글로벌 비즈니스 역량을 키울 수 있도록 마련됐다. 프로그램에는 총 18명의 학생이 참여했다.

참여 학생들은 베트남 현지에 진출한 경북 대표 기업인 율촌비나와 월성비나를 방문해 생산 공정을 견학하고, 현지 법인장 및 실무자들과의 간담회를 통해 해외 시장 진출 전략과 현지화 성공 사례를 공유받았다. 이를 통해 글로벌 제조 환경과 경영 전략에 대한 실질적인 이해를 높였다.

이어 베트남 명문 사립대학인 호아센대학교(Hoa Sen University)를 방문해 양 대학 학생들이 참여하는 공동 창업 프로젝트를 수행했다. 학생들은 스마트모빌리티, 스마트팜, K-문화콘텐츠 등 경북의 전략 산업을 주제로 팀을 구성해 현지 시장 조사를 진행했다.

대구대 학생들은 현지 전문가 멘토링을 바탕으로 창업 아이템을 구체화했으며, 프로그램 마지막 날 열린 성과 공유회에서 팀별 창업 아이디어 발표(피칭)를 통해 실전 창업 역량을 점검했다.

대구대학교 RISE사업단 관계자는 “학생들이 강의실을 벗어나 해외 현장에서 직접 경험하며 글로벌 시장의 흐름을 체감하는 소중한 기회가 됐다”며 “앞으로도 지역 산업과 연계한 다양한 글로벌 프로그램을 통해 학생들이 세계 무대에서 활약할 수 있는 실무형 인재로 성장하도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu University's RISE Project Group Operates Global Employment and Entrepreneurship Capacity Building Program in Vietnam

Daegu University (President Park Soon-jin) announced that the RISE Project Group's Local Talent Development Center ran the "2025 Global Employment and Entrepreneurship Capacity Building Program" in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from January 25th to 29th.

This program was designed to provide students with firsthand experience at Gyeongbuk local companies operating in Vietnam and to cultivate global business capabilities through collaboration with local university students. A total of 18 students participated in the program.

The students visited Yulchon Vina and Wolseong Vina, two leading Gyeongbuk companies operating in Vietnam, toured their production processes and met with local branch managers and practitioners to learn about overseas market entry strategies and successful localization practices. This experience enhanced their understanding of the global manufacturing environment and management strategies.

Following this, they visited Hoa Sen University, a prestigious private university in Vietnam, and conducted a joint entrepreneurship project involving students from both universities. Students formed teams focused on strategic industries in Gyeongbuk, such as smart mobility, smart farms, and K-culture content, and conducted local market research.

Daegu University students refined their startup ideas with mentorship from local experts. At a performance sharing session held on the final day of the program, each team pitched their ideas, demonstrating their practical entrepreneurial capabilities.

An official from Daegu University's RISE Project Group stated, "This was a valuable opportunity for students to step outside the classroom and gain firsthand experience in overseas fields, gaining a firsthand understanding of global market trends. We will continue to actively support students in developing practical talent capable of competing on the global stage through various global programs linked to local industries."
