군은 ‘하나되는 청송, 그 이상의 도약!’이라는 군정 슬로건 아래 살기 좋은 도시 기반을 구축하고 지역 균형발전을 실현하기 위해 ▲신속하고 만족도 높은 건설행정 구축 및 댐 주변지역 균형발전 ▲안전한 도로 환경 조성 ▲농업기반시설 확충을 통한 안정적 용수 공급 ▲자연재해 사전 예방 ▲주민생활 편익시설 확충 등 5대 전략을 중심으로 사업을 추진할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

먼저 댐 건설로 간접 피해를 입은 지역 주민 지원을 위해 7억7,000만 원을 투입해 소득 증대와 생활기반 조성 사업을 추진한다. 이를 통해 주민들의 상대적 소외감을 완화하고 권익 보호와 복리 증진을 도모할 방침이다. 또한 건설행정 민원을 신속히 처리해 군민 만족도를 높이고 안정적인 건설 환경을 조성함으로써 지역 건설산업 육성과 공정한 건설문화 정착에도 힘을 쏟는다.

기후위기에 대응한 농업 기반과 재난 방재 사업도 강화한다. 이전지구 소규모 농촌용수 개발사업에 81억 원을 투입해 사업을 마무리하고, 고현리 석계지구 밭기반정비사업에 15억 원, 개일리 능남저수지 보수공사에 7억 원을 각각 투입한다. 이와 함께 노후 저수지와 수리시설 31지구에 약 16억 원을 들여 정비를 진행해 안정적인 농업용수 공급 기반을 확충한다.

하천 정비와 재해위험지구 개선에는 총 198억 원이 투입된다. 자연재해위험개선지구 4곳(모계·어무골·은계·수락)과 진보면지구 풍수해생활권 종합정비사업, 소하천 정비 4곳(실물·못골·능남·시리골)이 추진된다.

특히 총사업비 462억 원이 투입되는 진보면지구 풍수해생활권 종합정비사업은 상습 침수 지역인 진보면 진안·이촌리 일원에 소하천 4곳과 저수지 1곳, 시가지 관로를 정비하는 사업으로, 1,069세대 2,138명과 건물 734동의 생명과 재산 보호를 목표로 진행된다.

이와 함께 마을안길과 농로, 소교량 등 주민 생활과 밀접한 소규모 시설 개선 256건에 103억 원을 투입하고, 마을회관과 팔각정 등 주민 편의시설을 정기적으로 보수해 체감도 높은 생활환경 개선도 추진한다.

청송군 관계자는 “기후 변화로 재난 발생 빈도가 높아지는 만큼 군민 안전 확보는 타협할 수 없는 최우선 과제”라며 “체계적인 기반시설 정비와 촘촘한 안전 인프라 구축을 통해 군민이 안심하고 일상을 누릴 수 있는 ‘행복 청송’을 만드는 데 행정 역량을 집중하겠다”고 말했다.
