【브레이크뉴스 영덕】박영재 기자=영덕군은 신학기를 맞아 관내 학교와 유치원의 안전하고 위생적인 급식 환경 조성을 위해 지난 10일과 12일 이틀간 식중독 예방을 위한 현장 합동점검을 실시했다.

군은 최근 5년간 학교 식중독 발생 현황을 분석한 결과 3월에 발생 빈도가 가장 높은 것으로 나타남에 따라 영덕교육지원청 등 관계기관과 합동 점검반을 구성해 관내 집단급식소와 식재료 공급업체를 대상으로 위생 지도와 수거 검사 등 집중 점검을 진행했다.

점검 첫날에는 관내 초등학교 급식소에서 조리식품 3건을 수거해 정밀 검사를 의뢰했으며, 감염병에 취약한 영유아의 위생 환경 점검을 위해 어린이집과 유치원을 대상으로 노로바이러스 환경 검사도 실시했다. 특히 완구, 수도꼭지, 문손잡이 등 어린이 접촉이 잦은 시설에서 채취한 6건의 환경 검체를 조리식품과 함께 경상북도보건환경연구원에 보내 오염 여부를 확인하고 있다.

둘째 날에는 초등학교 급식소를 방문해 조리시설과 기구의 청결 관리 상태, 식재료 소비기한 준수 여부, 보관 온도 적정성, 조리 종사자의 개인 위생 관리 등을 중점 점검했다. 아울러 주요 식재료 공급업체를 찾아 배송 차량의 적정 온도 유지와 운송 과정의 위생 기준 준수 여부를 확인하는 등 유통 단계의 안전성도 점검했다.

김신규 영덕군 환경위생과장은 “신학기에는 식중독 집단 발생 위험이 높아지는 만큼 학교와 관계기관과 협력해 예방 중심의 현장 점검을 강화하고 있다”며 “실효성 있는 지도·점검과 과학적인 수거 검사를 통해 학생과 학부모가 안심할 수 있는 급식 환경을 조성해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Kim Sin-gyu, Head of the Environmental Hygiene Division of Yeongdeok-gun, stated, "As the risk of mass food poisoning outbreaks increases during the new semester, we are strengthening prevention-oriented on-site inspections in cooperation with schools and relevant agencies." He added, "We will create a school meal environment where students and parents can feel safe through effective guidance and inspections, as well as scientific sample collection and testing."
