【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 동구청이 행정 혁신을 위해 생성형 인공지능을 활용한 법률지원 시스템을 도입한다.

동구청은 내달 1일부터 약 9개월간 전 부서를 대상으로 ‘AI 법률지원서비스’를 시범 운영할 계획이라고 밝혔다. 

이 서비스는 행정, 복지, 도시, 교통 등 다양한 분야의 법무 업무를 지원하는 데 초점이 맞춰졌다.

해당 시스템은 판례 요약, 법령 매칭, 승소율 예측 등 기능을 갖췄다. 반복적인 법률 조사에 드는 시간을 줄이고 문서 작성과 의사결정 속도를 높여 공무원들이 보다 신속히 행정 업무를 처리할 수 있도록 돕는다는 설명이다. 

특히 법무 인력이 부족한 부서에서도 일정 수준의 법률 검토 역량을 갖출 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

동구청은 시범 운영을 통해 정확도와 활용도, 법적 리스크 등을 전반적으로 평가한 뒤, 2027년부터 본격적인 확대 도입 여부를 검토할 방침이다.

김태운 동구청장 권한대행은 “AI 법률지원서비스 도입은 동구 행정 혁신의 의미 있는 첫걸음”이라며 “전 부서가 신속하고 정확한 법률 자문을 받아 행정 서비스의 질을 높여가겠다. 스마트 행정 실현에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

Daegu Dong-gu Office is introducing a legal support system utilizing generative artificial intelligence for administrative innovation.

The Dong-gu Office announced plans to pilot the "AI Legal Support Service" across all departments for approximately nine months, starting from the 1st of next month.

This service is focused on supporting legal affairs in various fields, including administration, welfare, urban planning, and transportation.

The system is equipped with features such as case law summarization, statute matching, and win rate prediction. The office explains that it helps civil servants process administrative tasks more quickly by reducing the time spent on repetitive legal research and accelerating document drafting and decision-making.

In particular, it is expected to enable departments with insufficient legal personnel to acquire a certain level of legal review capability.

The Dong-gu Office plans to evaluate accuracy, usability, and legal risks comprehensively through the pilot operation, and then review whether to expand the service in earnest starting in 2027. Kim Tae-woon, Acting Head of Dong-gu Office, said, “The introduction of AI legal support services is a meaningful first step toward administrative innovation in Dong-gu,” adding, “All departments will receive prompt and accurate legal advice to improve the quality of administrative services. We will strive to realize smart administration.”
