【브레이크뉴스】박영재 기자=국민의힘이 6·3 국회의원 재·보궐선거 공천 신청 지역 10곳 중 7곳을 단수 공천하고, 일부 지역은 경선과 재공모로 선발하기로 했다.

박덕흠 공천관리위원장은 1일 서울 여의도 당사에서 브리핑을 통해 공천관리위원회 심사 결과를 공개했다.

부산 북갑은 박민식 전 국가보훈부 장관과 이영풍 전 KBS 기자가 맞붙는 양자 경선으로 후보를 결정한다. 이 지역은 한동훈 전 대표의 무소속 출마가 예고된 상태다.

대구 달성군은 이진숙 전 방송통신위원장이 단수 공천됐고, 울산 남갑은 김태규 당협위원장이 후보로 확정됐다. 경기 하남갑과 인천 연수갑에서도 각각 이용·박종진 당협위원장이 단수 공천을 받았다.

인천 계양을, 광주 광산을, 제주 서귀포시 등 이른바 험지로 분류되는 지역에서도 심왕섭, 안태욱 전 광주시당위원장, 고기철 도당위원장이 각각 단수 공천됐다.

충남 공주·부여·청양은 정진석 전 국회부의장을 포함해 7명이 지원했으나 심사가 보류됐으며, 전북 군산·김제·부안군은 후보 재공모가 진행된다.

공관위는 공천 접수 직후 하루 만에 서류 심사와 면접을 마무리하고 결과를 확정했다. 아울러 경기 시흥시장과 전북 전주시장 후보 선출도 재공모 절차에 들어간다.

For Gunsan, Gimje, and Buan in North Jeolla Province, it was decided to reopen the application process for candidates.

The Nomination Management Committee finalized the results after conducting document reviews and interviews just one day after receiving applications. Along with this, the re-application process for the mayoral candidates of Siheung in Gyeonggi Province and Jeonju in North Jeolla Province will also begin.
