국민의힘 경북도당 공천관리위원회(위원장 구자근)는 지난 1일 제15차 회의를 열고 광역·기초의원 후보와 비례대표 공천 명단을 의결했다. 광역의원은 포항 9개 선거구를 포함해 총 18곳에서 단수 추천이 이뤄졌다. 일부 선거구는 경선을 통해 후보를 확정하기로 했다.

포항 지역 광역의원은 9개 선거구 모두 단수 추천으로 확정됐다. △제1선거구 김상백, △제2선거구 장명수, △제3선거구 김상일, △제4선거구 연규식, △제5선거구 김희수, △제6선거구 서재원, △제7선거구 이동업, △제8선거구 박정호, △제9선거구 손희권 후보가 공천을 받았다.

경산도 5개 선거구 모두 단수 추천으로 △백운성, △윤기현, △우영봉, △박채아, △이철식 후보가 본선에 직행했다. 울릉군 △정윤태, 영주시 제2선거구 △임무석, 영양군 △이종열, 봉화군 △권영만 후보도 단수 공천됐다.

경주시 제4선거구는 △이동협·△이진우 후보가 경쟁하며, 제5선거구는 △김소현·△박승직·△정경민 후보 간 3자 경선이 치러진다.

영주시 제1선거구 역시 △심재연·△우충무·△임병하 후보가 맞붙는다. 경선은 당원 선거인단 100% 투표 방식으로 진행된다.

기초의원 공천에서는 포항을 비롯한 경북 전역에서 복수 추천과 경선이 병행됐다. 포항시 기초의원 공천 후보는 △가선거구 김후환·유흥근, △나선거구 김종익·김도준, △다선거구 김현옥·김재원, △라선거구 오호영·정종식, △마선거구 김하영·정원석, △바선거구 안은희·양아영, △사선거구 황찬규·김정희, △아선거구 김철수·김영헌 후보가 각각 이름을 올렸다.

△자선거구는 김창희·양윤제·조민성, △차선거구는 안대천·최해곤·김홍열, △카선거구는 김정엽·임주희·함정호, △타선거구는 이진원·김형철·이재진 후보가 공천됐다. 비례대표는 △1번 박정숙, △2번 김승리, △3번 김보람, △4번 장창한 후보가 배정됐다.

이번 공천으로 포항시의회는 현역 의원 24명 가운데 13명만 공천을 받아 절반가량이 교체됐다. 공천에서 탈락한 일부 현역 의원들은 무소속 출마를 검토 중인 것으로 전해졌다.

국민의힘 대구시당도 공천 작업을 마무리했다. 대구시당 공천관리위원회는 제18차 회의를 열어 동구 제1선거구 경선 결과와 함께 광역의원(비례) 및 기초의원(지역구·비례) 공천 명단을 확정·발표했다.

동구 제1선거구 경선에서는 △이원우 후보가 1위를 차지했다. 광역의원 비례대표는 1번 △남궁현숙, 이어 △주호동, △임효신, △김영태, △김성원 후보 순으로 배정됐다.
