【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=관람 경험을 한층 강화한 ‘ART FAIR DAEGU 2026’(아트페어대구, 이하 AFID)이 오는 7일부터 10일까지 나흘간 대구 EXCO 서관 Hall 1·2에서 열린다.
주최 측에 따르면 올해 AFID는 전시 구조를 전면적으로 개편했다. 기존 갤러리 중심의 메인 섹션과 더불어 특별 기획 코너 ‘하이라이트(HIGHLIGHT)’를 신설한 것이 특징이다. 이곳에서는 베스 쉐피로, 김미숙, 김원용, 문재필, 신홍직 등 선정 작가 5인의 작품을 중심으로 관람 동선을 입체적으로 구성해 관객들의 몰입도를 높인다.
또한 지역 이머징 작가를 지원하는 ‘LIGHT UP’, 관객이 직접 참여할 수 있는 ‘ART LIVE ZONE’, 그리고 현장 경매 형식으로 진행되는 ‘LIVE AUCTION’ 등 다채로운 신규 프로그램도 도입했다. 특히 라이브 옥션은 캐터옥션과 협업해 현장에서 생동감 있게 진행될 예정이다.
이번 행사에는 예성화랑, 갤러리 가이아, 토포하우스 등 국내 주요 갤러리는 물론, 프랑스, 미국, 일본, 덴마크 등 10여 개 국에서 약 100여 곳의 갤러리가 참여해 다양한 현대미술 작품을 선보인다.
AFID 관계자는 “전시 콘텐츠의 질적 성장을 통해 시민들이 일상 속에서 예술을 더욱 가까이 즐길 수 있도록 하겠다”고 전했다.
한편 VIP 프리뷰는 7일 오전 11시부터 오후 3시까지 진행되며, 일반 관람은 7일 오후 3시부터 시작된다. 8일부터 9일까지는 오전 11시부터 오후 7시 30분까지, 마지막 날인 10일은 오후 6시까지 운영된다.

Meanwhile, the VIP preview will be held from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM on the 7th, and general admission begins at 3:00 PM on the same day. The exhibition will be open from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM on the 8th and 9th, and until 6:00 PM on the final day, the 10th.
