【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구시교육청이 학생들의 참신한 아이디어를 바탕으로 미래학교 공간 혁신에 나선다.

대구광역시교육청은 5월 6일부터 7월 31일까지 학생 대상 공모전 ‘함께 디자인하는 미래학교 공간’을 진행한다고 5일 밝혔다. 이번 공모전은 학교 공간재구조화 사업을 활성화하고 학생 등 사용자의 직접적 참여를 확대하기 위해 마련됐다.

공모전은 두 개 분야로 운영된다. '이런 학교 공간 어때?' 부문에서는 미래형 학교 공간 설계나 불편 개선 아이디어를, '우리 학교 별별공간을 소개합니다' 부문에서는 공간재구조화 사업 경험을 바탕으로 한 체험수기를 받는다. 대구지역 초·중·고 학생이면 개인 또는 팀 단위로 누구나 응모할 수 있다.

작품 형식은 손그림, 디지털 그래픽, 수필, 보고서, 칸만화(5~12컷), 1~3분 정도의 쇼트폼 영상 등 다양하게 접수 가능하다. 완성된 작품은 PDF나 영상 파일 형태로 전자우편을 통해 제출하면 된다.

심사는 주제 적합성, 창의성, 실현 가능성, 표현력 등을 기준으로 이뤄지며, 분야별·학교급별로 금상, 은상, 동상과 특별상(다행복상)이 수여된다. 결과는 8월 말 발표된다. 수상작들은 교육청 누리집과 각종 온라인 채널을 통해 공유될 예정이다.

유민영 대구시교육청 학교공간혁신단장은 “학생들의 창의적인 아이디어가 실제 교육 공간 변화로 이어질 수 있도록 노력하겠다”며 “현장에 꼭 맞는 미래학교 모델을 만들어 가겠다”고 밝혔다.

이번 공모전을 통해 학생들이 학교 공간을 직접 설계하고 새롭게 바꿔보는 과정을 경험함으로써, 창의성과 참여 역량을 한층 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.

It is expected that this competition will significantly enhance students' creativity and participation capabilities by allowing them to experience the process of directly designing and transforming school spaces.
