【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구광역시는 장애인의 정보 접근성 향상과 디지털 격차 해소를 위해 장애 유형별 ‘정보통신보조기기 보급 사업’을 추진하고, 5월 7일부터 신청 접수를 시작한다.

이번 사업은 신체적·경제적 여건으로 정보통신 서비스 이용에 어려움을 겪는 장애인을 대상으로 장애 유형에 적합한 맞춤형 정보통신보조기기 구매 비용을 지원하는 사업이다.

지원 대상은 대구시에 주민등록이 되어 있는 장애인과 상이등급 판정을 받은 국가유공자이며, 보조기기 제품 가격의 80%를 지원한다. 기초생활수급자와 차상위계층은 90%까지 지원받을 수 있다.

올해 지원 품목은 터치모니터, 골전도 보청기, 안구마우스 등 총 128종이다. 장애 유형별로는 ▲시각장애인용 61종 ▲지체·뇌병변장애인용 19종 ▲청각·언어장애인용 48종으로 구성됐다.

신청을 희망하는 시민은 5월 7일부터 6월 23일까지 정보통신보조기기 누리집(www.at4u.or.kr)을 통해 온라인으로 신청하거나, 대구시 지능정보화담당관실 또는 구·군 정보화 부서를 방문하거나 우편으로 접수하면 된다.

대구시는 경제적 여건, 기존 지원 이력, 전문가 평가 및 현장 확인 등을 종합적으로 심사해 최종 보급 대상자 210명을 선정하고, 결과는 7월 16일 대구시 홈페이지를 통해 발표할 예정이다.

한편, 5월 14일부터 15일까지 이틀간 대구장애인종합복지관(수성구 파동)에서 정보통신보조기기 제품 설명과 시연, 전문 상담을 제공하는 체험전시회가 열린다.

Recipients of basic livelihood support and those in the next-lowest income bracket can receive up to 90% support.

This year’s supported items include a total of 128 types, such as touch monitors, bone conduction hearing aids, and eye-tracking mice. By disability type, the lineup consists of 61 types for the visually impaired, 19 types for individuals with physical or cerebral palsy disabilities, and 48 types for individuals with hearing or speech disabilities.
