특히 청년 창업 지원과 주거 기반 확충을 통해 젊은 세대의 지역 정착 여건을 강화하겠다는 계획이다.

복지 분야에서는 고령화 대응 정책을 강조했다. 보건소와 연계한 ‘찾아가는 방문 의료’ 체계 구축, 병원 동행 및 이동지원 서비스 확대, 어르신 공공일자리 확대, 요양보호사 수당 현실화 등을 주요 공약으로 제시했다.

이 후보는 “통합신공항은 군위의 산업과 인구 구조를 바꿀 수 있는 결정적 기회”라며 “공항을 단순한 기반시설이 아니라 배후 산업과 일자리까지 연계해 군위의 미래를 새롭게 열겠다”고 말했다.
