한국수력원자력은 8일 ‘KHNP AI 누리(아이누리)’ 입주기업의 우수 기술을 발굴하고 핵심 기술의 실무 현장 도입 가능성을 검토하기 위한 간담회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

한수원은 AI 스타트업 성장을 지원하기 위해 방사선보건원 내에 ‘아이누리’를 조성해 입주 공간과 전문가 컨설팅 등 맞춤형 지원을 제공하고 있다.

이번 간담회에는 한수원 실무부서 관계자와 아이누리 입주기업 관계자들이 참석해 각 기업이 보유한 핵심 AI 기술을 소개하고, 실제 업무에 필요한 기술과 AI 활용 방안에 대해 의견을 교환했다.

특히 참석자들은 혁신 기술의 현장 적용 가능성을 중심으로 실증(PoC) 추진 방안과 도입 절차, 데이터 보안 문제 등에 대해서도 심도 있는 논의를 진행했다.

한수원은 이번 간담회를 계기로 AI 기반 디지털 전환 전략을 더욱 강화하고, 입주기업을 대상으로 연구개발(R&D) 지원과 수출, 경영 컨설팅 등 다양한 지원사업도 지속 확대할 계획이다.

한수원 관계자는 “AI 디지털 전환은 미래 핵심 전략 분야”라며 “아이누리 입주기업들과의 협력을 통해 혁신 기술이 실제 산업 현장에 적용될 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) is accelerating technological innovation based on digital transformation (DX) by strengthening cooperation with artificial intelligence (AI) startups.

KHNP announced on the 8th that it held a meeting to identify outstanding technologies from tenant companies of ‘KHNP AI Nuri (i-Nuri)’ and to review the feasibility of introducing core technologies into practical work environments.

To support the growth of AI startups, KHNP established ‘i-Nuri’ within the National Institute of Radiological Health (NIH) to provide customized support, including office space and expert consulting.

Officials from KHNP's working departments and representatives from i-Nuri tenant companies attended the meeting to introduce their respective core AI technologies and exchange opinions on technologies required for actual work and ways to utilize AI.
