정치권에 대한 쓴소리도 나왔다. 양 후보는 “국민의힘은 10년 넘게 동구 정치를 독점해왔고, 민주당 역시 평소에는 조용하다가 선거 때만 정권교체를 외친다”며, 기존 양당 정치에 책임이 있다고 지적했다.

이밖에 대형마트 정기휴일제 도입, 지저동 침수 문제 해결, 금호강 난개발 문제 등 지역 현안에 대한 해결 의지도 밝혔다. 그는 “사회적 약자의 삶은 선거용 표 계산의 대상이 아니라 생존의 문제”라며, 민생을 최우선 과제로 삼겠다고 말했다.

마지막으로 양 후보는 “보이지 않는 이주여성, 장애인, 소수자, 취약계층의 이야기를 계속 듣고 대변하는 정치를 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
