【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=국민의힘 추경호 대구시장 후보가 11일 대구지역 주요 건설단체 대표들과 간담회를 열고, 지역 건설 경기 회복을 최우선 과제로 삼아 민생경제를 활성화하겠다고 약속했다.

이날 행사에는 대한건설협회, 대한주택건설협회 대구시회를 비롯한 6개 건설 관련 단체 회장단과 임원 15명이 참석했다. 권영진 의원과 이인선 위원장도 함께 자리를 했다.

이 자리에서 건설업계 대표들은 대구 대형 숙원사업의 조속한 추진, 공공 건설공사 물량 확대, 대형공사 공구 분할 발주, 적정 공사비 및 공기 보장 등 여러 현안을 건의했다.  

대한전문건설협회 대구시회는 하도급률 70% 이상 보장과 3억 원 미만 소규모 공사 설계 기준 마련을 요청했고, 대한기계설비건설협회는 지역 건설업체 전용 신용보증기금 신설을 제안했다. 대한건축사협회는 건축주택국 신설과 TK신공항 건설, 군사시설 이전 부지 개발 과정에서 지역 건축사 참여 확대, 인재 육성 등을 건의했다.

추 후보는 “대구 건설산업은 지역경제의 중심축”이라며 “건설이 살아나야 대구경제도 함께 살아난다”고 강조했다. 이어 TK통합신공항 건설과 군부대 이전, 금호강 르네상스 등 대형 공공 프로젝트를 더욱 속도감 있게 추진하겠다고 밝혔다.

또 “소규모 공사에 대형 품셈을 일괄적용하는 것은 현실적이지 않다”며, 품셈의 현실화와 대형사업 분리 발주를 통한 지역업체 수혜 확대를 적극 검토하겠다고 말했다.

금융규제에 대해선 “수도권과 지방은 부동산 상황이 다르다”며 지역별 차등 대출 규제를 중앙정부에 계속 요구하겠다는 뜻을 밝혔다.

인허가 지연 문제와 관련해선 “게으른 행정, 눈치 보는 행정은 용납하지 않겠다”며, 전문 의사결정 기구를 통해 행정 처리 속도를 높이겠다고 약속했다.

아울러 취임 즉시 비상경제대책회의를 신설하고, 건설·금융·행정 관계기관이 모두 참여하는 상설 협의체를 만들어 지역 현안 해결에 총력을 기울이겠다는 구상도 내놨다.

The Korea Institute of Architects proposed the establishment of an Architecture and Housing Bureau, increased participation of local architects in the construction of the TK New Airport and the development of sites for relocated military facilities, and the cultivation of talent. Candidate Chu emphasized, “Daegu’s construction industry is the central axis of the regional economy,” stating, “Only when the construction sector revives will the Daegu economy revive.” He further announced that he would push forward with greater speed with large-scale public projects, such as the construction of the TK Integrated New Airport, the relocation of military units, and the Geumho River Renaissance.

He also stated, “It is unrealistic to uniformly apply large-scale cost estimation standards to small-scale construction projects,” and said he would actively consider realizing cost estimation standards and expanding benefits for local companies through the separate bidding of large-scale projects.

Regarding financial regulations, he expressed his intention to continue demanding differentiated loan regulations by region from the central government, noting that “real estate situations differ between the capital area and the provinces.”

Regarding the issue of permit delays, he pledged, “I will not tolerate lazy or hesitant administration,” and promised to accelerate administrative processing through a specialized decision-making body.

In addition, he unveiled a plan to establish an Emergency Economic Measures Council immediately upon taking office and to create a standing consultative body involving all relevant agencies in construction, finance, and administration to devote all efforts to resolving local pending issues.
