【브레이크뉴스 대구】이성현 기자=대구한의대학교(총장 변창훈) 대학일자리플러스센터 재학생맞춤형고용서비스 사업팀이 자기주도형 진로탐색 프로그램 ‘DHU 진로탐사대’ 운영에 앞서 지난 4월 29일부터 30일까지 이틀간 오리엔테이션을 개최했다.

이번 행사에는 재학생 64명, 17개 팀이 참여해 프로그램 취지와 운영 방향, 우수 활동 사례 등을 공유하며 본격적인 활동 준비에 나섰다.

‘DHU 진로탐사대’는 학생들이 관심 직무와 진로 분야를 중심으로 팀별 활동을 직접 설계하고 수행하는 참여형 프로그램이다. 참가 학생들은 약 한 달간 산업 현장 탐방, 직업인 인터뷰, 직무 조사 및 체험 활동 등을 진행하며 진로에 대한 이해를 넓히게 된다.

특히 올해는 학생 자율성을 강화하는 방향으로 운영 방식을 개편한 점이 주목된다. 기존의 획일적인 활동 기준에서 벗어나 각 팀이 희망 진로와 관심 분야에 맞춰 활동 내용을 자율적으로 구성할 수 있도록 해 학생 중심의 실질적인 진로탐색이 가능하도록 했다.

이를 통해 학생들은 협업 과정에서 전공 이해도를 높이고, 현직자와의 교류를 통해 산업 현장 감각과 직무 이해도를 키울 것으로 기대된다.

지난해에 이어 올해도 참여한 한방스포츠재활의학과 박모 학생은 “프로그램을 통해 전공과 관련 직무를 보다 구체적으로 이해할 수 있었고, 현직자 인터뷰 경험도 진로 설정에 큰 도움이 됐다”며 “올해는 신입생들과 함께 활동하는 만큼 서로의 경험과 생각을 나누며 더욱 의미 있는 시간이 될 것 같다”고 소감을 전했다.

대구한의대학교 대학일자리플러스센터 관계자는 “학생들이 스스로 진로를 설계하고 현장 경험을 통해 직무 역량을 키울 수 있도록 다양한 맞춤형 프로그램을 확대하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 학년별·전공별 특성을 반영한 체계적인 진로·취업 지원을 지속 강화해 나갈 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

Daegu Hani University Launches Self-Directed Career Exploration Program ‘DHU Career Exploration Team’

The Student-Tailored Employment Service Team at the University Job Plus Center of Daegu Hani University (President Byun Chang-hoon) held an orientation for two days from April 29 to 30 in preparation for the launch of the self-directed career exploration program, ‘DHU Career Exploration Team.’

Sixty-four students from 17 teams participated in the event, sharing the program’s purpose, operational direction, and examples of successful activities, and began preparations for full-scale operations.

The ‘DHU Career Exploration Team’ is a participatory program in which students directly design and carry out team activities centered on their job roles and career fields of interest. Over the course of approximately one month, participating students will broaden their understanding of career paths by conducting industrial site visits, interviews with professionals, job research, and hands-on experience activities.

Notably, this year, the program's operational method has been restructured to strengthen student autonomy. Moving away from conventional, uniform activity standards, the program allows each team to autonomously organize their activities according to their desired career paths and areas of interest, thereby enabling practical, student-centered career exploration.

Through this, students are expected to enhance their understanding of their majors during the collaborative process and develop a sense of the industry and job responsibilities through interaction with professionals.

Park, a student from the Department of Oriental Sports Rehabilitation who participated again this year following last year, shared his thoughts: “Through the program, I was able to understand my major and related job roles more concretely, and the experience of interviewing professionals was a great help in setting my career path. Since I am working alongside freshmen this year, I think it will be an even more meaningful time as we share our experiences and thoughts with one another.”

An official from the University Job Plus Center at Daegu Hani University stated, “We are expanding various customized programs to help students design their own career paths and develop job competencies through field experience. We plan to continue strengthening systematic career and employment support that reflects the specific characteristics of each year and major.”
