전시 ‘루미나 展’은 오는 12일부터 6월 13일까지 구미 ‘행복한화가 갤러리카페’에서 개최되며, 오프닝 행사는 19일 오후 2시 열린다.
‘루미나 展’은 ‘색으로 빛을 피워낸 삶의 향기 이야기’를 주제로 준비됐다. 이번 전시에는 온그림 미술단 단원 4명과 지역 발달장애인 작가 6명 등 총 10명이 참여해 다양한 작품을 선보인다.
특히 포스코휴먼스의 첨단 ‘PosART’ 컬러강판 위에 3D 프린팅 기법을 접목한 작품도 공개된다. 예술과 산업기술이 만난 새로운 창작 모델이라는 점에서 주목되고 있다. 이번 전시는 한국장애인고용공단 경북지사, 포스코휴먼스, 희재예술발전소가 함께하는 사회공헌 프로젝트로 마련됐다.
경북교육청은 전국 17개 시·도 교육청 가운데 최초로 장애인미술단 ‘온그림’을 창단했다. 지난 3월 출범한 미술단은 전용 작업실에서 전문 직무교육과 창작활동을 진행해 왔으며, 이번 전시를 통해 공식 예술인으로서 첫 발을 내딛게 됐다.
이용희 경북교육청 행복교육지원과장은 “루미나 展이 장애 예술인의 가능성과 재능을 지역사회와 나누는 소중한 자리가 되길 바란다”며 “예술적 역량이 지속 가능한 직업으로 이어질 수 있도록 특수교육과 고용 생태계 구축에도 힘쓰겠다”고 밝혔다.

"Ongeurim," an art troupe for people with disabilities founded by the Gyeongbuk Office of Education, is set to hold its first official exhibition. Titled "Lumina," the exhibition will take place from May 12 to June 13 at the "Happy Painter Gallery Cafe" in Gumi, with the opening ceremony scheduled for 2:00 PM on the 19th.
The "Lumina" exhibition is organized under the theme "Stories of the Fragrance of Life Blooming with Light Through Color." A total of 10 artists—four members of the Ongeurim art troupe and six local artists with developmental disabilities—are participating to showcase a diverse range of works.
Notably, works combining 3D printing techniques with POSCO Humans' advanced "PosART" color steel plates will also be unveiled. This is drawing attention as a new creative model where art meets industrial technology. This exhibition was organized as a social contribution project in collaboration with the Gyeongbuk Branch of the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled, POSCO Humans, and the Heejae Art Development Center. The Gyeongbuk Office of Education established the "Ongeurim" art troupe for people with disabilities, becoming the first among the 17 provincial and metropolitan offices of education nationwide to do so. Launched last March, the troupe has been conducting professional job training and creative activities in a dedicated studio, and this exhibition marks their first step as official artists.
Lee Yong-hee, Head of the Happiness Education Support Division at the Gyeongbuk Office of Education, stated, "I hope the 'Lumina' exhibition serves as a valuable opportunity to share the potential and talents of artists with disabilities with the local community," adding, "We will also strive to build a special education and employment ecosystem so that artistic capabilities can lead to sustainable careers."
