【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단 산하 서변숲도서관이 예술 분야에 특화된 서가를 조성하고, 연중 다양한 테마 전시를 선보인다. 회화, 음악, 영화, 건축, 공예 등 여러 예술 콘텐츠를 보다 친근하게 전달해 도서관의 문화예술 기능을 한층 강화하겠다는 취지다.

서변숲도서관은 오는 5월부터 12월까지 종합자료실 내 계단형 서가 ‘다랑서가’에서 ‘예술 주제 컬렉션 서가’를 운영한다. 이번 사업은 방문객들이 예술 분야 도서를 더욱 쉽게 접하고, 일상 속에서 문화예술을 자연스럽게 누릴 수 있도록 마련됐다.

전시는 시기별로 주제를 달리해 구성된다. 먼저 5~6월에는 ‘예술을 만나는 네 가지 방법’을 주제로, ‘읽고·듣고·보고·만나는 예술’을 콘셉트로 삼아 명화, 클래식, 영화, 예술가 관련 도서들을 소개한다.

7~9월에는 ‘오늘의 예술 셋로그’라는 테마로, 젊은 감성과 예능 프로그램 형식을 접목한 큐레이션 전시가 열린다. ‘입체적인 녀석들’, ‘전지적 아티스트 시점’, ‘벌거벗은 미술사’, ‘그림 읽어드립니다’, ‘셔터는 거들 뿐’처럼 대중적인 표현을 활용해 이용자들이 쉽고 흥미롭게 접근할 수 있도록 기획한 것이 특징이다.

10~12월에는 ‘아트 디깅 : 밀도 있는 시간’이란 이름 아래, 보다 깊이 있는 예술 탐구 전시가 마련된다. 공예, 회화, 예술사 등 다양한 분야에서 심화된 내용을 다루며, 한층 깊이 있는 독서를 이끌어낼 계획이다.

도서관 측은 단순한 도서 전시를 넘어, 앞으로 문화예술 프로그램과 연계한 체험형 운영도 확대할 예정이다. 예술 관련 강연과 북 큐레이션, 직접 체험할 수 있는 프로그램도 함께 마련해 지역 주민들이 문화를 더 가까이서 체감할 수 있도록 할 방침이다.

서변숲도서관 관계자는 “예술 주제 컬렉션 서가를 통해 다양한 예술 분야를 책과 함께 쉽고 편하게 접할 수 있길 기대한다”며 “앞으로도 예술 특화 도서 전시와 문화예술 프로그램을 꾸준히 운영해 나가겠다”고 전했다.

From July to September, under the theme "Today's Art Setlog," a curated exhibition will be held that combines youthful sensibilities with the format of entertainment programs. It is characterized by a design that utilizes popular expressions such as ‘Three-Dimensional Guys,’ ‘Omniscient Artist’s Viewpoint,’ ‘Naked Art History,’ ‘We Read Paintings for You,’ and ‘The Shutter Is Just for Support,’ allowing users to approach the content easily and with interest.

From October to December, an exhibition exploring art in greater depth will be held under the title ‘Art Digging: Dense Time.’ It plans to encourage deeper reading by covering advanced content across various fields, including crafts, painting, and art history.

Beyond simple book exhibitions, the library intends to expand experiential operations linked to cultural and artistic programs. By organizing art-related lectures, book curation, and hands-on programs, the library aims to enable local residents to experience culture more closely.

An official from Seobyeon Forest Library stated, “We hope that through the art-themed collection bookshelves, people can easily and comfortably access various fields of art alongside books,” adding, “We will continue to consistently operate art-specialized book exhibitions and cultural and artistic programs.”
