영덕문화관광재단은 지난 14일 국립청소년해양센터 울릉도 세미나실에서 양 기관 관계자들이 참석한 가운데 지역 문화·관광 발전 및 교류 활성화를 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 영덕군이 보유한 풍부한 해양 자원과 문화·관광 인프라를 기반으로 양 기관의 우호 관계를 강화하고, 상호 신뢰를 바탕으로 다양한 교류·협력 사업을 추진하기 위해 마련됐다.

협약에 따라 양 기관은 ▲청소년 대상 문화·관광 프로그램 개발 및 운영 ▲문화·관광 사업 관련 역량 공유를 통한 지역사회 발전 기여 ▲문화·관광 사업 지원을 위한 인적·물적 자원 교류 ▲공동 발전과 우호 증진을 위한 협력 사업 추진 등에 힘을 모으기로 했다. 구체적인 실행 방안은 향후 실무 협의를 거쳐 단계적으로 추진될 예정이다.

양 기관은 이번 협약을 계기로 문화·관광 분야 협력체계를 공고히 하고, 지역 주민과 청소년이 함께 체감할 수 있는 실질적인 프로그램과 교류 사업을 지속적으로 확대해 나갈 방침이다.

이승훈 상임이사는 “국립청소년해양센터가 보유한 우수한 해양 교육 인프라와 재단의 문화·관광 기획 역량이 결합해 다양한 시너지 효과를 창출할 것으로 기대한다”며 “상호 신뢰를 바탕으로 지속 가능한 협력체계를 구축해 지역 문화·관광 활성화와 지역사회 발전에 기여하겠다”고 말했다.

The Yeongdeok Culture & Tourism Foundation and the National Youth Marine Center have established a cooperative framework to promote regional culture and tourism development and revitalize exchanges.

The Yeongdeok Culture & Tourism Foundation announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 14th at the National Youth Marine Center's Ulleungdo Seminar Room, with officials from both organizations in attendance, to promote regional culture and tourism development and exchanges.

This agreement was established to strengthen friendly relations between the two organizations based on the abundant marine resources and culture and tourism infrastructure possessed by Yeongdeok-gun, and to pursue various exchange and cooperation projects based on mutual trust.

According to the agreement, both organizations have agreed to join forces on: ▲ developing and operating culture and tourism programs for youth; ▲ contributing to local community development through the sharing of capabilities related to culture and tourism projects; ▲ exchanging human and material resources to support culture and tourism projects; and ▲ promoting cooperative projects for joint development and friendship enhancement.
