【브레이크뉴스 문경】이성현 기자=문경시가 향후 4년간 지역 복지정책의 방향을 설정할 제6기 지역사회보장계획 수립에 본격 착수했다.
시는 지난 19일 Mungyeong Cultural Center 다목적실에서 ‘제6기 지역사회보장계획 수립 착수보고회 및 발대식’을 열고 계획 수립 절차에 돌입했다고 밝혔다.
이번 보고회는 지역사회보장계획 수립 추진 방향을 공유하고, 변화하는 복지 환경과 시민 수요를 반영한 실효성 있는 정책 과제를 논의하기 위해 마련됐다. 시는 민·관 협력을 바탕으로 다양한 의견수렴 절차를 진행해 지역 특성에 맞는 맞춤형 복지계획을 마련할 방침이다.
이날 행사에는 이건화 행정복지국장과 김경범 문경시지역사회보장협의체 민간위원장, 강창교 교수 및 연구진, 관계 공무원, 실무협의체 위원 등 50여 명이 참석해 계획 수립 방향과 추진 일정 등을 공유했다.
참석자들은 지역 복지 현안과 시민 체감도를 높일 수 있는 정책 발굴 방안, 복지 사각지대 해소를 위한 협력체계 구축 필요성 등에 대해 의견을 나눴다.
이건화 행정복지국장은 “지역사회보장계획은 앞으로 4년간 문경시 복지정책의 큰 방향을 결정하는 중요한 기준”이라며 “시민들의 다양한 목소리가 충분히 반영돼 실질적인 변화를 이끌 수 있는 계획이 마련되길 기대한다”고 말했다.
김경범 민간위원장도 “지역사회보장계획은 행정뿐 아니라 시민과 지역사회가 함께 만들어가는 과정이 핵심”이라며 “현장의 다양한 의견을 충실히 담아 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 복지계획 수립에 적극 협력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
문경시는 이번 착수보고회를 시작으로 분야별 의견수렴과 실태조사, 시민 참여 절차 등을 순차적으로 진행해 지역 여건에 부합하는 제6기 지역사회보장계획을 완성할 예정이다.
