【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=국민의힘이 25일 대구시당 5층 강당에서 ‘대구·경북 공동 비전선포식’을 열고, 행정통합과 초광역 경제권 구축을 핵심 목표로 내세웠다.

이날 비전선포식에는 장동혁 대표와 주호영 총괄선대위원장, 추경호 대구시장 후보, 이철우 경북지사 후보, 이인선·구자근 의원 등 당 지도부와 지역 인사들이 대거 참석했다. 이들은 대구·경북의 공동 발전 전략과 실질적인 협력 방안을 발표하며 힘을 모았다.

국민의힘은 이번 선포식에서 ‘하나의 생활권, 하나의 경제권, 하나의 미래’를 슬로건으로 내걸고, 대구·경북 행정통합 특별법 추진과 초광역 산업·물류벨트 구축 방안을 공식화했다.

특히 대구경북통합신공항과 포항 영일만항을 연계한 물류망 구축, 반도체·미래차·로봇·바이오 중심 산업벨트 조성, 의료·R&D·제조산업의 융합 생태계 확장 등이 주요 비전으로 제시됐다. 중앙정부와 협력을 통한 특별법 개정과 국비 확보 의지도 분명히 했다.

장동혁 대표는 “대구와 경북이 힘을 합쳐 새로운 100년의 출발선에 서야 한다”며, “추경호·이철우 후보와 함께라면 대구·경북의 대전환도 반드시 실현할 수 있다”고 자신감을 보였다.

주호영 총괄선대위원장 역시 “대구·경북의 승리가 대한민국 균형발전의 분수령이 될 것”이라며, “원팀 정신으로 압승해 지역의 미래를 바꾸자”고 목소리를 높였다.

추경호 후보는 “하나 된 힘으로 대구·경북의 자존심과 경쟁력을 반드시 되찾겠다”며, “시민들의 삶을 더 편안하게 하고, 지역 경제에 활기를 불어넣겠다”고 강조했다.

이철우 후보도 “대구와 경북은 본래 한 몸”이라며, “행정통합을 통해 청년과 기업, 일자리가 돌아오는 새로운 성장 구조를 만들겠다”고 말했다.

Representative Jang Dong-hyuk expressed confidence, stating, “Daegu and Gyeongbuk must join forces to stand at the starting line of a new century,” and adding, “With Candidates Choo Kyung-ho and Lee Chul-woo, we can certainly realize a great transformation for Daegu and Gyeongbuk.”

General Campaign Committee Chairman Joo Ho-young also raised his voice, saying, “A victory for Daegu and Gyeongbuk will be a watershed moment for balanced development in South Korea,” and urged, “Let’s achieve a landslide victory with a ‘one team’ spirit and change the future of the region.”
