【브레이크뉴스 의성】진예솔 기자=최유철 국민의힘 의성군수 후보가 27일 의성전통마늘시장에서 열린 국민의힘 지방선거 후보 합동유세에 참석해 박형수 국회의원 등과 함께 ‘원팀’ 각오를 다지며 신공항 시대를 맞아 의성 발전 비전을 제시했다.

이날 유세는 오전부터 군민과 지지자, 박지혁 후보를 비롯한 국민의힘 군의원 후보들이 대거 참석해 성황을 이뤘다. 

최 후보는 “대구·경북 통합신공항을 의성 경제 도약의 전환점으로 삼겠다”며 “항공물류단지와 연관 산업 클러스터를 조성해 양질의 일자리를 만들겠다”고 강조했다. 

또 “AI와 디지털 기술을 농업과 복지에 접목해 의성 농축산물의 경쟁력을 높이고, 세대별 맞춤형 복지도 강화하겠다”고 약속했다.

이날 유세 현장에서는 박지혁 후보가 빗속에서 삼보일배로 지지를 호소해 이목을 끌었다. 이에 대해 최 후보는 “군민 앞에서 낮은 자세로 임하겠다는 절박함의 표현”이라며, “현장 목소리를 정책에 즉각 반영하는 군정을 만들겠다”고 밝혔다.

박형수 국회의원도 유세에 힘을 보탰다. 그는 “중앙의 힘과 지역 현장이 결합해야 예산 확보와 정책 추진이 가능하다”며 “원팀 체제로 의성 발전의 동력을 만들겠다”고 강조했다.

최 후보는 마무리 발언에서 “30년 법무사 경력과 의회 의장 경험을 바탕으로 청렴하고 철저히 준비된 군정을 실현하겠다”며, “신공항, AI농업, 통합복지를 통해 모든 세대가 잘사는 의성을 반드시 만들겠다”고 다짐했다.

Choi Yu-cheol, the People Power Party candidate for Uiseong County Governor, attended a joint campaign rally for local election candidates held at the Uiseong Traditional Garlic Market on the 27th. Representative Park Hyung-soo also lent his support to the campaign. He emphasized, “Securing the budget and implementing policies are only possible when the power of the central government and the local field are combined,” and pledged, “I will create the driving force for Uiseong’s development through a ‘one-team’ system.”

In his concluding remarks, Candidate Choi vowed, “Based on my 30 years of experience as a judicial scrivener and my experience as the council chairman, I will realize a clean and thoroughly prepared county administration,” and pledged, “I will certainly build an Uiseong where all generations prosper through the new airport, AI agriculture, and integrated welfare.”
