수성구청에는 정책추진단 이석철 팀장도 이미 건축사 자격을 갖추고 있어, 현재 두 명의 건축사가 실무 현장에서 활동 중이다. 이들은 전문성을 바탕으로 건축행정 업무의 내실을 다지고 있다.
배지호 팀장은 “건축은 결국 사람을 위한 공간을 만드는 일이고, 행정 역시 사람을 향해야 한다”며 “이번 자격 취득을 계기로 현장 경험과 전문성을 살려 주민이 신뢰할 수 있는 건축행정 실현과 수성구의 미래 가치 향상에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
