대구보건대학교는 교수학습지원센터 주관으로 지난 16일부터 18일까지 전남 여수 일원에서 ‘DHC 우수학생클럽 리더십 캠프’를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이번 캠프는 전문대학 혁신지원사업의 일환으로 마련됐으며, 우수학생클럽으로 선발된 학생 28명과 교직원 등 총 33명이 참여했다.

캠프는 인공지능(AI)과 ESG 등 미래 사회 핵심 이슈에 대한 이해를 높이고, 기술 역량과 공동체 의식을 겸비한 차세대 리더를 양성하는 데 초점을 맞췄다.

참가 학생들은 인공지능활용능력 자격 취득 과정과 ESG 경영 특강에 참여하며 디지털 기술 활용 능력과 지속가능성에 대한 이해를 넓혔다.

또 교육 과정에서 습득한 지식을 바탕으로 지역사회 문제 해결을 주제로 한 팀 프로젝트를 수행했다. 학생들은 다양한 아이디어를 도출하고 발표를 통해 해결 방안을 공유하며 협업과 문제 해결 능력을 키웠다.

김영준 대구보건대학교 총괄부총장은 “AI 시대에는 기술에 대한 이해뿐만 아니라 사람과 사회를 바라보는 통찰력이 중요하다”며 “학생들이 이번 캠프를 통해 디지털 역량과 공동체 의식을 함께 갖춘 미래형 인재로 성장하길 기대한다”고 말했다.

한편 DHC 우수학생클럽은 학과 성적 상위 20% 이내 학생들을 대상으로 운영되는 프로그램으로, 전공 역량과 직무 능력은 물론 자기주도 학습 역량까지 강화하는 창의융합형 인재 양성 과정이다.

Daegu Health College has set out to cultivate creative convergence talent by operating a special program designed to strengthen the leadership and future capabilities of its outstanding students.

Daegu Health College announced that it held the "DHC Outstanding Student Club Leadership Camp" in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province, from the 16th to the 18th, under the auspices of the Center for Teaching and Learning Support.

This camp was organized as part of the College Innovation Support Project, with a total of 33 participants, including 28 students selected for the Outstanding Student Club and faculty and staff.

The camp focused on fostering next-generation leaders equipped with both technical skills and a sense of community, while enhancing understanding of key issues of future society such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and ESG.

Participating students broadened their understanding of digital technology utilization and sustainability by taking part in AI utilization certification courses and special lectures on ESG management.

Furthermore, based on the knowledge acquired during the course, they carried out team projects focused on solving local community problems. Students developed collaboration and problem-solving skills by generating various ideas and sharing solutions through presentations.

Kim Young-jun, Executive Vice President of Daegu Health College, stated, “In the AI ​​era, not only an understanding of technology but also insight into people and society is crucial,” adding, “I hope that through this camp, students will grow into future-oriented talents equipped with both digital capabilities and a sense of community.”

Meanwhile, the DHC Outstanding Student Club is a program for students within the top 20% of their academic performance, designed to foster creative convergence talents by strengthening not only their major and job competencies but also their self-directed learning capabilities.
