군은 지난 23일 경북근로자연수원 대회의실에서 한재미나리 생산농가와 관계자 120여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘미나리 생산기술 및 친환경 재배 교육’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 내년도 출하를 앞두고 재배 기술을 향상시키고, 소비자들의 안전 먹거리에 대한 관심이 높아지는 추세에 대응해 한재미나리의 신뢰도와 브랜드 가치를 높이기 위해 마련됐다.

교육에서는 기후변화에 따른 재배환경 변화와 자연재해에 대비한 시설 관리 방안, 주요 병해충 예방 및 방제기술 등 현장 중심의 실무 교육이 진행됐다. 참석 농가들은 실제 재배 과정에서 활용할 수 있는 다양한 정보를 공유하며 생산 역량 강화를 위한 시간을 가졌다.

특히 국립농산물품질관리원 경북지원 청도사무소가 참여해 지리적표시제 운영과 관리 요령, 친환경 농자재 사용 기준 등에 대한 설명을 실시하며 안전 농산물 생산을 위한 이해도를 높였다.

이와 함께 농가들은 한재미나리의 우수한 품질을 지속적으로 유지하고 소비자 신뢰를 더욱 강화하기 위한 실천 의지를 다지는 자리도 마련했다.

박정진 한재미나리생산자연합회장은 “안전한 농산물 생산은 소비자와의 신뢰를 지키는 가장 중요한 약속”이라며 “친환경 재배 원칙을 철저히 준수해 한재미나리만의 차별화된 품질과 명성을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

청도군 관계자는 “변화하는 농업 환경 속에서도 고품질 미나리 생산에 힘쓰고 있는 농가들의 노고에 감사드린다”며 “앞으로도 한재미나리의 브랜드 경쟁력 강화와 농가 소득 향상을 위해 다양한 지원 사업을 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.
