시는 오는 24일부터 ‘2026년 경영혁신 외식서비스 지원사업’에 참여할 지역 외식업소 17곳을 공개 모집한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 외식업 경영환경 변화에 효과적으로 대응할 수 있도록 전문 컨설턴트가 업소를 직접 찾아 경영 전반을 진단하고 업소별 여건에 맞는 개선 방안을 제시하는 프로그램이다. 사업은 경상북도경제진흥원과 협력해 진행된다.

신청 대상은 포항지역에서 영업 중인 일반음식점과 휴게음식점 소상공인이다. 접수 기간은 24일부터 7월 3일까지이며, 이메일 또는 우편·방문을 통해 신청할 수 있다. 외식창업 인큐베이팅 과정을 수료했거나 안심식당으로 지정된 업소, 푸드테크 기술을 도입한 업체는 심사 과정에서 우대받을 수 있다.

최종 선정된 업소에는 분야별 전문가가 참여하는 1대1 맞춤형 컨설팅이 제공된다. 지원 내용은 경영관리와 마케팅은 물론 메뉴 개발, 푸드테크 활용, 노무·세무 상담 등 외식업 운영에 필요한 다양한 영역을 포함한다.

세부적으로는 손익 분석과 원가 절감 방안, 온·오프라인 홍보 전략 수립, 디자인 개선, 신메뉴 개발 및 조리기술 전수, 서빙로봇과 키오스크 도입 방안, 법률·세무 자문 등을 지원받을 수 있다.

포항시는 이번 사업을 통해 지역 외식업체의 자생력을 높이는 동시에 디지털 기술을 활용한 외식서비스 확산에도 힘을 쏟을 방침이다. 특히 푸드테크 기반 경영모델 도입을 촉진해 외식산업의 디지털 전환을 가속화한다는 계획이다.

Through this project, Pohang City plans to focus on enhancing the self-reliance of local food service businesses while simultaneously expanding dining services utilizing digital technology. In particular, the city intends to accelerate the digital transformation of the food service industry by promoting the adoption of food technology-based management models.
