【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장직무대행 전경국) 국제교류교육센터는 지난 29일 외국인 학부 유학생 12명을 대상으로 부산 주요 명소를 둘러보는 한국 문화체험 프로그램을 진행했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 지역혁신중심 대학지원체계(RISE) 사업의 일환으로 마련됐으며, 유학생들이 지역의 대표적인 문화·관광 자원을 직접 체험하며 한국의 역사와 생활문화를 이해하고 지역사회 적응 역량을 높일 수 있도록 기획됐다.

참가 학생들은 감천문화마을을 비롯해 BIFF광장, 해운대 동백섬, 누리마루 APEC기념관 등을 차례로 방문하며 부산의 역사와 문화적 특성을 체험했다. 또한 지역의 관광 명소와 생활환경을 직접 둘러보며 한국 사회와 지역문화를 보다 가까이 이해하는 시간을 가졌다.

프로그램은 부산의 대표 문화유산과 관광지를 탐방하는 것은 물론 전통시장과 지역사회 문화를 경험할 수 있도록 구성됐다. 이를 통해 유학생들의 한국 생활 적응을 돕고, 학생 간 교류 활성화와 대학생활 만족도 향상, 지역사회에 대한 이해와 정주 의식 제고에도 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

선린대학교 국제교류교육센터는 앞으로도 RISE 사업과 연계한 다양한 문화체험 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영할 예정이다. 아울러 외국인 유학생들이 한국 사회에 안정적으로 적응하고 지역사회와의 유대감을 높일 수 있도록 교육 및 지원 프로그램을 더욱 확대해 나갈 방침이다.

Sunlin University Organizes Busan Cultural Tour for International Students… Supporting Understanding of Korean Culture and Local Adaptation

Sunlin University (Acting President Jeon Kyung-guk) announced that its Center for International Exchange and Education conducted a Korean culture experience program on the 29th for 12 international undergraduate students, touring major landmarks in Busan.

This event was organized as part of the Innovation-Oriented University Support System (RISE) project and was designed to allow international students to directly experience the region's representative cultural and tourism resources, understand Korean history and lifestyle culture, and enhance their capacity for adaptation to the local community.

Participating students visited Gamcheon Culture Village, BIFF Square, Dongbaek Island in Haeundae, and the Nurimaru APEC Memorial Hall in succession, experiencing Busan's history and cultural characteristics. They also had the opportunity to gain a closer understanding of Korean society and local culture by touring local tourist attractions and living environments firsthand.

The program was structured to allow students to explore Busan's representative cultural heritage and tourist sites, as well as experience traditional markets and local community culture. It is expected that this will help international students adapt to life in Korea, promote exchange among students, improve satisfaction with university life, and foster an understanding of the local community and a sense of settlement.

The Sunlin University Center for International Exchange and Education plans to continue operating various cultural experience programs linked to the RISE project.
