【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=DGIST와 IBK기업은행이 학생들의 연구 환경 개선을 위해 힘을 모았다.

DGIST는 9일 IBK기업은행과 ‘미래 청년 과학기술인재 육성 지원 프로젝트’ 업무협약을 체결했다. 양 기관은 학생 교육 및 연구 환경을 개선하고, 미래 과학기술 인재 양성을 위해 협력하기로 했다.

이번 협약을 통해 DGIST와 IBK기업은행은 미래 과학기술 인재 육성을 위한 지속 가능한 협력체계를 구축할 계획이다. 또 통합연구관리시스템(RCMS) 연계, 교육·문화·예술 프로그램 공동 운영, 학생 생활환경 개선 등 다양한 사업을 함께 추진한다.

양 기관은 특히 연구관리시스템 연계를 통해 연구관리 효율성을 높이고, 학생들이 보다 나은 환경에서 교육과 연구에 집중할 수 있도록 지원할 방침이다.

DGIST는 이번 협약을 계기로 연구 인프라와 학생 복지 지원을 강화하고, 다양한 교육·문화 프로그램을 통해 창의적 연구역량을 갖춘 과학기술 인재 양성 기반을 확대한다는 계획이다.

이건우 DGIST 총장은 “이번 협력이 미래 과학기술 인재들이 연구와 학업에 더욱 전념할 수 있는 발판이 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.

김상희 IBK기업은행 부행장은 “청년 과학기술 인재들이 안정적인 환경에서 성장할 수 있도록 교육과 연구 지원을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

DGIST and IBK Industrial Bank of Korea have joined forces to improve the research environment for students.

Taking this agreement as an opportunity, DGIST plans to strengthen research infrastructure and student welfare support, and expand the foundation for cultivating science and technology talent equipped with creative research capabilities through various education and cultural programs. "I hope this collaboration will serve as a stepping stone for future science and technology talents to devote themselves more to their research and studies," said DGIST President Lee Kun-woo.

IBK Industrial Bank of Korea Vice President Kim Sang-hee stated, "We will continue to expand support for education and research so that young science and technology talents can grow in a stable environment."
