【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=행복북구문화재단이 운영하는 북구립도서관이 여름방학을 맞아 초등학생을 대상으로 '1박 2일 독서캠프' 참가자를 모집한다. 이번 독서캠프는 도서관에서 하룻밤을 보내며, 독서와 다양한 체험활동을 함께 할 수 있도록 마련됐다.

행복북구문화재단은 오는 8월 8일 구수산·대현·태전·서변숲도서관 네 곳에서 초등학교 3~4학년 학생을 대상으로 ‘1박 2일 독서캠프’를 진행한다고 밝혔다. 캠프에서는 책 읽기를 중심으로 다양한 체험과 협동활동이 접목되어, 어린이들이 창의력과 문제해결 능력을 키울 수 있도록 프로그램이 구성됐다.

도서관별 특화 프로그램도 눈길을 끈다. 구수산도서관에서는 '미래 크리에이터 캠프-내 손으로 만드는 로블록스 월드'가, 대현도서관에서는 화성 생존을 주제로 한 ‘MARS-X-붉은 행성 생존 미션’이 진행된다. 태전도서관은 '우리 몸의 비밀을 찾아라!'라는 주제로, 서변숲도서관은 '서변숲 방범대-도서관 미스터리 사건 파일'을 주제로 독서와 연계한 체험활동과 미션을 준비했다.

참가 신청은 오는 21일 오전 9시부터 각 도서관 홈페이지에서 선착순으로 접수할 수 있다.

이근수 행복북구문화재단 이사장은 “아이들이 도서관에서 특별한 하룻밤을 보내며 책과 더욱 가까워지고, 친구들과 함께 소통하며 성장하는 소중한 시간이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

The Buk-gu Public Libraries, operated by the Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation, are recruiting participants for a "1 Night 2 Days Reading Camp" for elementary school students during the summer vacation. This reading camp is designed to allow participants to spend a night at the library while engaging in reading and various hands-on activities.

The Happy Buk-gu Cultural Foundation announced that it will hold the "1 Night 2 Days Reading Camp" for 3rd and 4th grade elementary school students on August 8 at four locations: Gususan, Daehyeon, Taejeon, and Seobyeon Forest Libraries. The camp program is structured to foster children's creativity and problem-solving skills by integrating various experiences and cooperative activities centered around reading.

Specialized programs at each library are also drawing attention. Gususan Library will host the "Future Creator Camp - Building a Roblox World with My Own Hands," while Daehyeon Library will hold the "MARS-X - Red Planet Survival Mission," themed around survival on Mars. Taejeon Library has prepared reading-linked experiential activities and missions under the theme "Find the Secrets of Our Bodies!", while Seobyeon Forest Library has prepared them under the theme "Seobyeon Forest Security Team - Library Mystery Case Files."

Registration for participation will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 9:00 AM on the 21st via each library's website.

Lee Geun-soo, Chairman of the Happy Bukgu Cultural Foundation, said, "I hope this will be a precious time for children to spend a special night at the library, become closer to books, and grow while communicating with their friends."
