특히, 자주재원 확충과 국·시비 등 외부재원 확보 방안, 국가 정책사업 추진에 따른 재정 부담, 인건비 운영의 적정성 등에 대한 논의가 이어졌다.

또 북구의 미래 성장을 좌우할 후적지 개발 추진 상황도 점검됐다. 효율적인 도시공간 활용 방안과 향후 대응 전략에 대한 의견도 다양하게 오갔다.

북구 관계자는 “이번 보고회는 단순한 업무보고를 넘어 재정 여건과 주요 현안을 종합적으로 점검하고, 실질적인 해결 방안을 모색하는 자리로 마련됐다”고 설명했다.

이근수 구청장은 “민선 9기 구정은 북구의 현실을 정확히 진단하는 것에서 출발해야 한다”며 “한정된 재원을 효율적으로 활용하고, 자주재원 확충과 국·시비 확보를 통해 구민이 체감할 수 있는 성과를 만들어가겠다”고 밝혔다.

북구는 앞으로도 주요 현안을 지속적으로 점검하고, 부서 간 협력을 강화해 민선 9기 구정 목표 실현을 위한 실행 방안을 구체화할 방침이다.
