【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구청이 하반기 소상공인 경영안정자금 지원 규모를 크게 늘린다. 북구청은 20일 iM뱅크 북구청지점과 대구신용보증재단 북지점과의 '2026년 하반기 소상공인 경영안정자금 지원사업' 업무협약을 맺고, 기존 상반기 15억 원이었던 지원 규모를 36억 원까지 확대한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 고금리와 소비 부진 등으로 경영에 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역 소상공인의 금융 부담을 덜어주기 위해 마련됐다. 북구청과 iM뱅크가 각각 1억5천만 원씩, 총 3억 원을 공동 출연해 자금 지원 규모를 키웠다.

지원 대상은 북구에서 3개월 이상 사업장을 운영 중인 소상공인이다. 업체당 최대 5천만 원까지 대출할 수 있고, 상환 방식은 2년 거치 후 3년 분할상환 또는 일시상환 중 선택 가능하다. 북구청은 대출 이자 가운데 2%포인트를 2년간 지원해 소상공인의 이자 부담을 줄일 계획이다.

신청 접수는 오는 27일부터 '보증드림' 모바일 앱을 통한 비대면 방식과 대구신용보증재단 북지점 방문 방식 모두 가능하다.

한편 북구청은 2021년 사업 시행 이후 현재까지 총 1,346개 업체에 314억 원의 경영안정자금을 지원했다.

이근수 북구청장은 "이번 지원 사업이 고금리와 소비 위축으로 어려움을 겪는 소상공인들에게 실질적인 도움이 되길 바란다"며 "앞으로도 지역 소상공인이 체감할 수 있는 맞춤형 정책을 계속 확대해 나가겠다"고 말했다.
