【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 수성구가 독일 카를스루에시 대표단 초청 일정을 성공적으로 마무리하며, 기후변화 대응과 문화예술 분야에서 양 도시 간 협력이 더욱 견고해지고 있다.

수성구에 따르면, 지난 13일부터 19일까지 독일 카를스루에시 대표단과 국립극장 공연단 등 11명이 수성구를 찾았다. 이들은 기후변화 대응, 문화예술 교류, 공연 프로그램 등을 다각도로 진행하며 다양한 협력의 장을 마련했다.

이번 방문에는 알베르트 코이플라인 카를스루에시 부시장, 시의원과 시립미술관장 등 대표단 4명과 카를스루에 국립극장 극장장을 비롯한 공연단 7명이 참여했다.

14일에는 양 도시가 ‘제2차 기후변화시대 대응 포럼’을 열고, 기후위기 대응 정책과 실제 사례를 공유했다. 또 지속가능한 도시 발전 방안에 대해 깊이 논의하며 실질적 협력 의지를 다졌다.

이튿날인 15일에는 대구미술관과 카를스루에시가 전시 기획 및 문화예술 교류 확대를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다. 수성구는 앞으로 연호지구에 들어설 미디어아트 미술관과 독일의 세계적 미디어아트 기관인 ZKM(예술과 미디어센터) 간의 협력 방안도 제시했다.

문화예술 교류의 열기도 이어졌다. 카를스루에 국립극장 공연단은 17일과 18일 수성아트피아와 간송미술관에서 콘서트 오페라 ‘리골레토’와 야외 열린음악회를 선보이며 시민들에게 수준 높은 공연을 선사했다.

또한 카를스루에 국립극장 진출 오디션이 함께 열려, 지역 성악가 2명이 최종 합격하는 성과도 나왔다. 이를 통해 지역 예술인들의 해외 진출 기회가 한층 넓어졌다는 평가다.
