【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 동구청은 20일 구청사에서 ‘팔공메아리 명예기자’와 블로그·유튜브 기자단 위촉식을 열고, 총 24명의 주민 기자단을 공식 위촉했다.

이번 주민 기자단은 팔공메아리 명예기자 4명(임기 2년), 블로그 기자 15명(임기 1년), 유튜브 기자 5명(임기 1년) 등으로 구성됐다. 팔공메아리 명예기자는 지역 주민들의 목소리와 생활 현장을 취재해 소식지에 실으며, 블로그·유튜브 기자단은 동구의 주요 행사, 명소, 축제, 맛집 등 다양한 지역 소식을 온라인 채널로 소개할 예정이다.

동구청은 주민이 직접 참여하는 콘텐츠를 통해 행정 정보를 보다 친근하게 전달하고, 구민과의 쌍방향 소통도 한층 강화한다는 계획이다.

특히 ‘팔공메아리’는 미디어 환경 변화에 맞춰 꾸준히 발전하고 있다. 지난해 모바일 소식지를 선보였고, 올해는 어르신을 위한 ‘팔공메아리 큰 책’도 발행했다. 내년에는 어린이 신문도 창간해 세대별 소통 채널을 한층 넓힐 예정이다.

동구청 SNS 또한 지역 소식과 생활 정보를 실시간으로 전달하며, 이번 기자단 운영을 통해 현장 중심 콘텐츠 생산을 더욱 확대한다는 방침이다.
