【브레이크뉴스 봉화】이성현 기자=봉화군이 퇴원 이후에도 지속적인 돌봄이 필요한 군민들이 익숙한 생활 터전에서 안정적으로 생활할 수 있도록 지역사회 의료·복지 연계 체계를 강화한다.
군은 협력 의료기관과 함께 퇴원환자 지역사회 연계사업을 추진해 의료서비스와 돌봄서비스를 연계하는 통합지원 체계를 운영하고 있다고 밝혔다.
이 사업은 군과 협약을 맺은 의료기관이 퇴원을 앞둔 환자 가운데 돌봄이 필요한 대상자를 선별해 건강 상태와 생활 여건 등을 평가한 뒤 군에 의뢰하면, 봉화군이 통합지원회의를 열어 개인별 지원계획을 수립하고 필요한 서비스를 연계하는 방식으로 진행된다.
지원 대상은 골절이나 낙상 등으로 일상생활 수행이 어려운 노인과 암, 심부전 등 만성질환으로 퇴원 이후에도 지속적인 관리가 필요한 65세 이상 고령자와 장애인이다.
군은 대상자의 건강 상태와 생활환경을 종합적으로 고려해 방문진료와 가사지원 등 맞춤형 돌봄서비스를 신속하게 제공함으로써 퇴원 후 지역사회에서 안정적인 생활을 이어갈 수 있도록 지원하고 있다.
현재 봉화군은 지역 의료기관 4곳과 안동 등 권역별 협력병원 9곳 등 모두 13개 의료기관과 협력체계를 구축해 퇴원환자의 원활한 지역사회 복귀를 지원하고 있다.
봉화군은 앞으로도 의료기관과의 협력을 바탕으로 의료와 복지서비스를 유기적으로 연계해 군민 중심의 통합돌봄 체계를 더욱 강화할 계획이다.
안세훈 주민복지과장은 “퇴원 이후의 삶까지 이어지는 의료·돌봄 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 지역사회와 의료기관 간 협력이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “군민들이 생활하던 곳에서 안심하고 지낼 수 있도록 연속성 있는 통합돌봄 체계를 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Currently, Bonghwa County has established a cooperative system with a total of 13 medical institutions, including four local medical centers and nine regional partner hospitals such as Andong, to support the smooth return of discharged patients to the community.
