의성군은 지난 16일 비안향교 주관으로 비안향교 대성전에서 최유철 의성군수 취임 고유례를 봉행했다고 밝혔다.

이날 행사에는 최유철 의성군수를 비롯해 의성군의회 의원과 지역 유림 등 100여 명이 참석해 전통 예법에 따라 엄숙한 분위기 속에서 의식을 진행했다.

고유례는 국가나 지역의 중요한 일을 알리고 그 의미를 선현에게 전하는 유교 전통 의례다. 이번 행사는 새로 취임한 의성군수와 군의원의 취임 사실을 선성선현에게 알리고, 군정과 의정의 발전, 지역 주민의 평안을 기원하기 위해 마련됐다.

참석자들은 헌작과 분향 등 전통 절차를 차례로 진행하며 선현의 가르침을 되새기고, 군민을 위한 책임 있는 행정과 의정 활동을 다짐했다.
