【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구보건대학교가 중국 하북외국어대학과 손잡고 보건·의료·뷰티 분야의 공동 교육 프로그램과 학생 교류 확대에 나서며 국제 교육 협력에 박차를 가하고 있다.

대구보건대는 지난 20일부터 25일까지 중국 하북외국어대학과 부속고교 관계자 3명, 학생 12명을 초청해 하계 연수를 운영했다. 이번 연수에서는 양교 간 교육 협력 확대를 위한 실무회의도 함께 진행됐다.

연수단은 대구보건대 실습 시설과 대구보건대학교병원, 대구첨단의료복합단지 등을 찾아 보건의료 특성화 교육과 임상 실습 환경을 직접 체험했다. 다양한 문화체험 프로그램에도 참여해 양국 학생들이 교육과 문화 교류의 폭을 넓혔다.

양 대학은 연수 기간 총 두 차례 실무회의를 열었다. 첫 회의에서는 물리치료학과, 작업치료학과, 치기공학과를 중심으로 교육 과정 운영과 학생 교류 방안을 논의했다. 두 번째 회의에서는 뷰티코디네이션학과를 필두로 K-뷰티 교육과 실습 인프라 활용 방안에 대해 협의를 이어갔다.

특히 공동 교육 프로그램 운영과 학점 교류, 공동학위제 도입 등 실질적 협력 방안을 폭넓게 논의했다. 양교는 앞으로 제도적·행정적 절차를 거쳐 구체적인 실행 방안을 마련할 계획이다.

남성희 대구보건대 총장은 “이번 하계연수를 통해 양 대학이 교육 역량을 공유하고, 미래 보건의료 인재 양성을 위한 협력 기반이 더욱 단단해졌다”며 “해외 대학과 공동 교육 및 학생 교류를 꾸준히 확대해 학생들에게 다양한 글로벌 교육 기회를 제공하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Daegu Health University is accelerating its international educational cooperation by partnering with Hebei Foreign Language University in China to expand joint educational programs and student exchanges in the fields of health, medicine, and beauty.

The two universities held a total of two working-level meetings during the training period. The first meeting focused on curriculum operations and student exchange plans, centering on the Departments of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Dental Technology. At the second meeting, led by the Department of Beauty Coordination, discussions continued on ways to utilize K-Beauty education and practical training infrastructure.

In particular, practical cooperation measures were extensively discussed, including the operation of joint educational programs, credit exchange, and the introduction of a joint degree system. Both universities plan to establish concrete implementation plans following institutional and administrative procedures.

Daegu Health College President Nam Seong-hee stated, “Through this summer training program, the two universities shared their educational capabilities, and the foundation for cooperation to foster future healthcare talent has been further strengthened.” She added, “We will steadily expand joint education and student exchanges with overseas universities to provide students with diverse global educational opportunities.”
