【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구청이 마련한 ‘2027학년도 대입 수시 1대1 컨설팅’ 신청이 시작과 동시에 폭주하며 단 1시간 만에 전 좌석이 마감됐다. 

북구청은 올해 컨설팅 모집 인원을 지난해(70명)의 세 배인 210명으로 대폭 늘렸지만, 접수 시작 1분 만에 134명이 신청하는 등 열기가 뜨거웠다. 학생과 학부모들이 맞춤형 입시 상담에 얼마나 높은 관심을 갖고 있는지 다시 한 번 확인된 셈이다.  

이번 컨설팅은 대입 전형이 급격히 변화하는 상황에 맞춰 학생들에게 개인 맞춤형 진학 전략을 제공하기 위해 마련됐다. 북구청 관계자는 다음 달 4일부터 8일까지 닷새간 북구청 대회의실에서 컨설팅을 진행한다고 밝혔다.  

컨설팅에는 대구광역시 진학지도협의회 소속 진학 담당 교사 17명이 투입된다. 학생 1명당 1시간씩 배정해 학생부, 교과 성적, 비교과 활동까지 꼼꼼히 분석한 뒤, 대학별 지원 가능성부터 수시 지원 전략, 대학 및 학과 선택 방향까지 조언한다.  

최근 대입 전형이 복잡해지면서, 학생부 중심의 개인별 전략이 점점 더 중요해지고 있다. 이로 인해 공공기관이 제공하는 무료 진학 상담에 대한 지역 학생과 학부모들의 수요도 꾸준히 늘고 있다. 실제로 북구청은 모집 인원을 대폭 늘렸음에도 불구하고, 시작 한 시간 만에 모든 자리가 마감됐다. 앞으로 북구청은 추가 운영과 수요 확대 방안도 검토할 방침이다.  

이근수 북구청장은 “접수 시작과 동시에 많은 학생들이 신청한 것은 정확한 대입 정보와 개인별 진학 전략에 대한 높은 관심을 보여준다”며, “학생들이 자신의 강점을 제대로 파악하고, 최적의 수시 지원 전략을 세울 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Buk-gu Office plans to review measures to expand operations and increase demand in the future.
